We had an absolutely wonderful time here—we used the hot tub every day, enjoyed several fires in the woodstove, and truly enjoyed every minute.

The property was super clean and in a super quiet spot, which we really enjoyed. It was also close to state parks and waterfalls, so we had lots of fun exploring. The peace and quiet were wonderful. Plus, the pizza joint in Phoenicia had amazing pizzas—we loved them!! We’ll definitely choose this place again when we visit the Catskills.

I wish we could live here! Little piece of paradise! Lovely house with everything you need for a comfortable stay, decorated with eclectic art and furnishings that fit seamlessly together. The host was very communicative and helpful, couldn’t ask for more. Will return next time we come to the area if it’s available!

Perfect weekend quiet getaway. The house is exactly as posted online and great communication with owners. Very easy to get to and with great directions from owners. This is a small hidden gem in the area. A must rent

Our family had a fantastic stay at Flowing Water. We especially loved the stream ambiance, relaxing on the deck, cozy beds, beautiful decor and thoughtful touches throughout to make the cottage comfortable and inviting. Kids loved playing in the stream and we also enjoyed the hot tub. Other highlights of our trip included exploring the Catskills Visitor Center (and climbing the Upper Esopus Fire Tower), shopping in Woodstock, and visiting Kaaterskill Falls. We enjoyed delicious meals at the Phoenecia Diner, Woodstock Brewing, and Brio’s Pizza. Our host was extremely helpful and communicative! We loved it here and hope to return again soon!

Flowing Water

Amazing getaway! Beautiful house right next to the soothing sounds of a creek. Communication with the host was great- he was readily available to answer any questions. My family had a blast staying at Flowing Water.

Tranquil setting

This charming home was lovely for our visit to the Catskill Mountains. The stream is right outside the door and the hot tub was relaxing. We appreciated the updated kitchen and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of towels and other essentials. There are good local restaurants five minutes away in the town Phoenicia.

This is such a fantastic and peaceful spot nestled next to a brook. Everything we needed was provided for, check in and out was easy, and the location was perfect for a range of catskill activities. So happy we stayed here!!
