You can hike to Set Rock Falls or Roaring Fork Falls, go horse back riding in Pisgah National Forest, book a stargazing experience at Bare Dark Sky Observatory, schedule a candle making class at Burnsville Candle Company or a glass blowing class at Hearth & Glass gallery. In the summer, go see a play at Parkway Playhouse. Also, be sure to check out Homeplace Brewery and The Carriage House calendars. Not only do they have amazing food but also provide live music most weekends. Bird Foot (located behind the Hearth & Glass) is a craft beer establishment that offers a food truck (most nights) that you can enjoy great food by their cozy firepit.
