Meadow view cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice location. Ride in ride out was nice. Good trail to downtown Creede. Although it was the warmest summer we have had in the region in all the years we go ,it never really cooled down inside at night . That was very unusual circumstances beyond anyone’s control. Would recommend this property and will stay again.
Response from VrboOwner on 26 August 2026
Ride-in ride-out access and that trail into Creede are two of our favorite things about this spot too. That heat wave was a rough one for the whole region, and we hear you on the temps that week — glad it didn't take away from the stay. Can't wait to have you back. _VRC Team

Great cabin and location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Know the Creede area very well. Picked cabin based upon location and floor plan. Location is fantastic. Great porch, views, close to Creede, well equipped and comfortable. Hosts were very responsive before and during the trip. Plan to return again. Strong recommendation. If you stay here, must drive up the road to end of Miner's creek and do some easy hiking from the trail head...one of my favorite hikes in the area. Also good dark sky situation.

It’s also wonderful to know that you found the cabin comfortable and well equipped, and that our team was responsive throughout your visit. We especially appreciate you sharing your local hiking recommendation and mentioning the dark skies! It sounds like you truly made the most of your time in the Creede area. We would absolutely love to welcome you back for another stay!

Peaceful, quiet, spacious

This was the perfect spot in which to get away from it all, but at the same time it's proximity to the town of Creede was just right. We have never had so much space around us as we did with this property.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third summer staying at this cabin, and it always delivers. It is centrally located, close to Creede and trailheads, and the views are terrific, especially for sunset. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. (I would recommend the owners investing in newer, larger couches, as they could use an upgrade.)

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been vacationing in Creede for nearly 40 years. This home is ideally located close to town, but far enough out to be quiet and peaceful. Being about half way between South Fork and Lake City, its close to all our favorite hiking spots and jeeping roads. Very clean with a soft bed and any kitchen item one needs. Just what we were looking for!

Your home away from home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This log cabin has lots of room for bigger groups and loved the high ceilings. It was very clean and has everything you need to make it your home away from home. The fireplace is massive and would be wonderful to enjoy as it gets colder. The views are super from the surround deck. You are a short drive to town and close to several outdoor activities. We appreciated the craftmanship of the original log exterior and the modern interior.

Pretty sunsets

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was well appointed. Had all the items you look for when you want to "rough it" a bit. Bed was comfortable and the cabin was reasonably clean. Great view and great location. Easy to get into town. Easy to get to any hiking spot. I'd go back there again. We left it cleaner than when we arrived. Including the outside grill. Which was nice to have. Could have used a meat thermometer.

Spacious Cabin with fantastic views, great amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is perfect if you’re looking to spend time in Creede, or just driving through. It’s large and all 3 adults slept comfortably, we could have easily fit more people if needed. The kitchen had all the amenities and supplies we needed to cook during our stay - There’s an adorable country store about 10 minutes down the road in the heart of Creede. There was a farmers market on Saturday that had olive oil, jewelry, breads and a ton more. We did some off roading through Stoney Creek and Bear Town - saw some of the most beautiful views. My fiancé caught about 10 fish in two days - amazing fishing!!! There’s a little tackle store in town where you can get a 1 or 2 day fishing license. Everyone was so nice, fantastic town - lots of Elk and some Moose... It is NOT close to the Denver airport, but the drive is amazing. We were so well taken care of by VRC - We hope to come back soon!! Chelsea I.
