excellent location and place to stay. The Host Scott is the best! My wife and I stay here often and just love the place, and the little town of Treloar MO.
This place is so nice, clean and comfy! Scott (the host) was so helpful and always available for questions. I would highly recommend checking out the treehouse!
Scott is the best host you'll ever have, the extras included really make a difference. We will make this property our go to when we come back to visit.

WOW, thank you so much! We truly apprecite your kind words.. Safe Travels!!
Found this place about 20 minutes outside of Hermann with a nice scenic drive. Quiet little town right next to the Katy trail. Host was super helpful, very accommodating and extremely polite. It was the perfect stay for just the 2 of us over the weekend. Would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a good Hermann trip!
My boyfriend proposed to me at this location, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful time. The tub was an absolute gem. The bed was extremely comfortable. The property was quiet and relaxing. We went to the local restaurant/bar, and it was very tasty! The property manager was accommodating and kind. Definitely a great stay!
This property is absolutely gorgeous! We had so much fun visiting the local restaurants and wineries. The place is decorated so beautifully and the owners also left frozen pizza's in the freezer and soda in fridge. The firepit was also ready to go. Super nice people own this. Absolutely loved it.
What a wonderful weekend stay. The Treehouse Dogwood was amazing. Everything inside the house was so thoughtfully detailed: the coffee bar with different teas/coffees, wine with glasses & bottle opener, fans, flashlights, kitchen details, drinks in the fridge...I could go on and on. It was so comfortable! We will definitely plan to stay here again!
lots of history in this town, house is very nice good location, great bar in walking distance with great food and history. very relaxing. bed is the best allowing with the pillows. and the host fills the fridge with pop and beer for free to take. only down side to me was the coffee, to bitter for my taste.
This was nothing short of delightful. The location is so peaceful. If you are looking for a place to clear your mind and relax - this is the perfect property. It was a great place for my assistant and I to relax after a long day on our feet as makeup artists.
The host was incredibly prompt and thoughtful - Scott even provided a cozy bed, bowls, and toys for my service dog!
I have zero complaints. I’ll definitely return!
There is not enough ⭐️s on this rating scale to explain how exceptional this place and stay was! The details of the decor and amenities were A+ as well as the hosts. Scott was a call away and was available whenever needed. Thank you Thank you!!
PS…Comes with an adorable little neighbor who can help with anything too. 😊

Thank you for the very kind review! We appreciate you choosing the Treehouse and hope to see you in the future!
Wonderful place to stay. Visited family in St. Louis. Ate at Anthonino’s on The Hill and did Union Station Ferris Wheel. Decided to visit wine country and made this the stop between Augusta, Mo and Herman, Mo. Visited Lake Creek Winery and ate at Cori’s Twin Gables. Stayed in Treloar Gem right on Katy Trail. Trees for at least 9 plus miles. Drove to Herman and enjoyed views at Oak Glenn Winery. Headed home to KC. Perfect location to do Augusta one day and Hermann the next! Clean and well equipped!
Upscale contemporary rustic charm in old farmhouse
A trip back in time: the beautifully redone old white farmhouse whose front porch looks across the road to the grain elevator; beyond that the railroad tracks that back up to acres of corn fields. But step inside to the refreshing coolness of upscale rustic charm of a contemporary tiny house embellished with many hospitable and thoughtful touches. An experience rich in nostalgic memories for us. Thank you!
5 stars is not an exaggeration for this pearl. This was our second stay in the thoroughly modern inside of an early-1900's house right across the street from the Katy. We were there during a festival celebrating the historic grain elevators with music, brats and trolley rides along the trail. Hosts were very welcoming and house has everything a couple or 3 people (plus dog) would need for a great stay in a beautiful Missouri River valley not far from St. Louis. Toured Daniel Boone's son's home where Daniel died and his gravesite. The tour guide gave us a fascinating account of life in early Missouri. We have used HomeAway/VRBO for several years and we agree this is the overall-best place we have stayed.
Beautiful place right off the Katy trail! Very clean and cozy. Loved having coffee on the deck watching folks go by on the Katy. We will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful time! Great hosts and great place to stay! Right by the Katy Trail! The winery The Holy Grail up the hill was wonderful!
Thank you for your hospitality!!!
