The house was good. Few things I will recommend They should have long mirrors in all the rooms. There was no electric kettle in the kitchen to make tea. We were quite happy to see washer and dryer but not running condition. The shared washroom tabs should be changed.

Stay away

Outside is a disaster. Community is not safe and people wandering all hours of night. Each night had sounds of circling helicopters (police). Noticed the adjacent lot behind the house full of locals and watched many drug deals, people smoking (assume crack) and other activities. Had police activity each day on the street. Saw people “sleeping” on the sidewalk at the corner which is just a few lots away. As a result we left our reservation early and went to a hotel for the remainder of our stay. Inside of the house was clean and well advertised in the photos. Beds are not comfortable but put together well.

Host communicates quick, very friendly and accommodating. Place was immaculate inside and not far from our venue for a quick overnight stay!

SCARY LOCATION

I will begin with the positive: the inside of the house seemed clean. This was listed as a “beautiful” house. The interior looked like it had been updated, but the driveway was cracked pavement with potholes. The porch railing was rotted. The house was located in a ghetto type area with bars on the windows. We even witnessed a suspected drug deal down the street and this was in daylight! There was a building behind the house that shared the same driveway. The washer and dryer were outside under an overhang next to the other building. In short, there was NO WAY that we were going to stay there with two 16 year old girls! This is the only time I’ve ever had a bad experience with VRBO, but the listing details given do not match the actual reality of this location! I booked this based on 5 star reviews, but those reviews must have been purchased. DO NOT BOOK HERE
