Evans Heaven


Nestled on the outskirts of the heart of “Little Switzerland of America”, with an amazing view of Mount Sneffels, this is the perfect mountain cabin to get away, relax and recharge!

With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, there’s ample room for up to 6 guests. The primary bedroom features a spacious ensuite bath with walk-in shower and sauna (upon request).

After a fun day of outdoor adventures, you’ll enjoy all the comforts of home plus some special vacation treats…

Keep your eyes open for frequent visits by grazing deer and take in the glorious star filled sky on clear nights.

There are indoor and outdoor games available to enjoy, including corn hole and horseshoes.

Evans Heaven is located 5 miles from the town of Ouray, where you can enjoy hiking, jeeping, hot springs, ice climbing, box canyon falls, unique dining and some wonderfully quaint shops. Or consider Ridgeway Reservoir, just down the road, where you can enjoy fishing, boating and paddle boarding.

This property contains two separate living spaces. The main house is the house you will be staying in. The smaller living space is the owners quarters. From the month of May to September the owners may be staying there, depending on their plans. However, your privacy is of our utmost concern and they will go unnoticed!

Please note: there are cameras monitoring the outside areas. Front door, driveway, garage. There are no cameras located inside.

In response to COVID-19, we have made sure that our cleaning and safety precautions align with CDC guidelines. The house is cleaned with COVID approved cleaners. We provide self-checkin for our guests so there is no physical contact.

This was the perfect spot that is far enough for peace and quiet, yet close enough to drive in to town for activities. The owners were so kind and this home is so cozy! There is a large creek close by that we sat by for lunch a few times! There were often deer friends visiting outside throughout the day. Would absolutely stay here again!

This property is amazing! Very comfortable beds, couches, and outdoor spaces. The tree house, big yard, creek, fire pit, and hot tub were perfect for us and our 5 year old grandson. Location between Ouray and Ridgway was perfect; close to town but quiet and peaceful. Super clean and cozy. Tammy and Dave were always available when we had questions about local recommendations. Very comfortable home, complete with everything you might possibly need, in addition to a hot tub, playset, fire ring, and laundry facilities. Close to Everything

Great property and a great location! My family stayed 6 nights in early June. The cabin was very clean and organized with all the ammeneties you would need on a vacation. Close to every outdoor activity the area has to offer, hot springs swimming, ATV trail ride, hiking, biking, and relaxing. I would recommend this property to any family staying in southwest Colorado.

Evan’s Heaven was the perfect setting for three gradeschool friends celebrating our 50th high school reunion. The home was beautifully appointed, immaculately clean and Tammy was able to accommodate our request for an early check-in. It’s a short drive to Ouray or Ridgway and a beautiful drive to Telluride. Many places to hike, eat, shop, soak in a hot spring (or the hot tub on the deck) or take a jeep excursion nearby. Our group highly recommends this rental. The gift basket and duck hunt were icing on the cake! Enjoyed it all!

This was our first real family vaca since covid, and WOW, everthing was absolutely perfect. Our stay at Evan's Heaven couldn't have been more perfect.
