Lake Access - Private Pool - 2 Acres Retreat

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Located just steps away from Stillhouse Hollow Lake. Enjoy the sparkling pool, the cozy hot tub and the other gathering places for fun and leisure. Likewise, the inside of the home features an open concept and a garage converted into a game room, all perfect for entertaining. Every guest is sure to have great fun and make many memories. This is the best place to play hard and relax even harder!

This spacious home consists of three bedrooms that provide coziness and comfort. The fully-stocked kitchen and dining room offer the ultimate convenience to cook and serve meals. And last but not least, the game room ensures all guests have the most epic of entertainment. We have Cornhole, Foosball table as well as board games like Monopoly, What Do you Meme & Hedbanz.

Guest can access the lake via a short trail walk from the back yard through a beautiful natural forest. The hill going down to the lake is steep and rocky so we advise using caution. We also advise not wearing flip flops on the trail. The swimming hole itself has a mostly rock bottom.

Stillhouse Hollow Lake is located entirely within Bell County and is managed by The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The lake is meant to provide flood risk management, supply water and offer recreational opportunities to the Salado/Belton area, and to offer some of the best fishing, camping and boating in Central Texas.

Absolutely no pets allowed. If we see or find evidence of a pet at the property after your departure, a minimum $500 cleaning fee will be charged to your stay. The reason we have this rule in place is that some people are allergic to pet dander. Our guest health are a top priority. This rule will be strictly enforced.

Stillhouse Park is a day use area that has two reservable group pavilions along the shore of Stillhouse Hollow Lake in central Texas. With activities such as picnicking, swimming, basketball and fishing, the park is popular for family gatherings and other large group events. Stillhouse Hollow Lake was created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the construction of Stillhouse Hollow Dam in 1968. The 6,430-acre lake is located 16 miles upstream of the confluence of the Lampasas and Leon Rivers, which flow into the Little River.

Chalk Ridge Falls Park is a beautiful area. With hiking trails, a beautiful waterfall, and cold, refreshing water, Chalk Ridge Falls might just be the perfect place to spend a hot Texas summer day!

Wonderful pool

The grandkids loved the pool. I do believe they turned into fish! The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed and a very nice shower.The guest bedrooms were very nice.Overall the house and decks were great!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was comfy and cozy. Very clean. A lot of amenities, though the kids did not get to use the pool, as Texas decided to be strangely cold on this particular weekend. Great communication. Highly recommend.

Perfect for my brother's 43rd Birthday get-together

We spent days lounging in the inviting open living space and nights playing in the beautiful swimming pool. Beds were very comfortable and the bunk room helped to accommodate all the kids. The kitchen was big and adequately equipped. We took great family photos in front of the fire place. 10/10 would do again.

Nice location, lots of things to do… however, rain/bad weather had other plans…. Contacted management team regarding damage from storm.. response time as good, however, they couldn’t resolve the problems completely…. Everyone felt if there hadn’t been a storm, things would have been great..

Wonderful retreat from the city

My daughter and I had a wonderful retreat from the city. The photos definitely match the home. We enjoyed a nice hike to the lake. The home was clean and well maintained. The pool and hot tub were certainly inviting but a little to cold to use. We will definitely use both the pool and hot tub the next time in warmer weather.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PLACE!!!

We rented the house for the weekend of Highland Games where my daughter and her friend were competing with Highland Dance. We were two couples with a 13 years old daughter each. We know each other since our daughters started Pre-K. The house is gorgeous, very well stocked not just with kitchen stuff but with plenty of essentials (paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, and everything you can think of) and everything is top-notch quality, beds are amazingly comfortable. We've been using VRBO for awhile going to competitions all over the country and this house beat them all. We're definitely making plans to rent it again! Thank you!

Great Getaway on a Hot Weekend

We loved this house! The open floor plan was nice. House was super clean. Well stocked with soaps, towels, kitchen stuff, etc. The pool was the highlight of the trip. It's a little small but perfect for my family of four. The hot tub worked great at nights when it got a little cooler. Foosball table and board games made for some fun times. Only complaint and it's only personal preference is the furniture was not very comfortable. Living room, dining table chairs, outdoor couch and beds were not our favorite. But everything else was GREAT! Owners were very responsive as well.

Nice with a few snags

Girls trip was fun in the pool here. It was clean & has sun & shade. There is no fire pit area as was shown on the listing pics. (I ask them to remove photos & they gave me a whopping 50 back.) A tree had fallen over the fire pit so it was not usable. Really hard to get to the lake from this house. There is only a very steep slippery trail. The home was nice & clean, but the master toilet rocks & needs set. NEED NEW CORKSCREW! We tried opening a bottle of wine & were unable to with the cheap wine opener that they had. Also, the neighborhood coming in was very rough. It got better as the road continued to the house, but was a shock to drive through. Not a property I would return to, but enjoyed the time with my girlfriends.
