About this property

Happy House, minutes to the Beach!

Happy House is just what it says. Walk right in and you are in a happy place. Located a few blocks from the beach, in the very friendly subdivision of Terramar.
Ground Level: large sitting area and hammock to enjoy all parts of the day. Grill available( charcoal provided by guests). Extra picnic table for dining downstairs. Outdoor shower, perfect for after the beach. No garage access. Driveway parking can accommodate 2 to 3 vehicles.

Main level: another intimate sitting area. Perfect for sunset cocktails and coffee sunrises.

The key to the house is in a supra(key box) on the garage door knob. The morning of your check-in the supra code will be texted to your phone.

Once in the door, you will not be disappointed. Living area with oversized couch and additional seating. Extra large smart tv. Kitchen has been fully renovated. Extra charging station in the countertop. 4 barstools at the counter. Kitchen is fully stocked. Adjacent is the breakfast area. Seats up to 8 people, with a large food pantry.

Bedroom one has a king bed with smart tv. Large closet and attached, renovated bathroom.
Bedroom two and three also have smart TVs and large closets.
Shared bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Lots of storage space.

Amnesties in the neighborhood are plenty. Seasonal community pool, marina with boat ramp and fishing area for guests and a disc golf course.
Close dining areas, West End Marina will not disappoint.

Happy House is not renting for Parties or Large Gatherings.
If you are bringing your furry friend, please let me know and picking up after Fido is a must :)

Memorial Day

We stayed at the Happy House over Memorial Day and it was awesome. The area is great, close proximity to the beach and far away from the crowds. Plenty of things to do and the house has all the amenities our family needed. The stay was great and the house was beautiful!

Beautiful Beach Stay

This was our first trip to Galveston, but we absolutely loved our time at the Happy House. The decor was beautiful and the home had all the amenities we could ask for. Laurie was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The house was incredibly clean. The kitchen was well equipped with Keurig, large refrigerator, ice maker,Large dish washer and a washer & dryer.I love all the ceiling fans to keep the house cool without blasting the ac. The beds were really comfy, no sinks in the mattresses. The patio, and downstairs was really nice with seating. All my questions were answered up front as well. Best part, easy beach access via 10 minute walk across the street. Or, 1 mile drive with rocked parking lot access over boardwalk. I was very pleased.

You will be Happy at Happy House

Our stay at Happy Home was just what we needed. The folks who own this property are amazing! A couple of minutes by car and you are on the beach. Kitchen fully stocked with all of the pots, pans, bowls, plates, silverware and cleanup products you will need. Large table in the dinning room. Bath-Plenty of quality towels that smell really good. No musty smells in the house like in some rentals I have visited.. very clean and well organized. Two areas out side to relax at. This home truly was a home away from home. The decorations in the home are perfect. I felt like we were staying at high end place. Over all, great place to stay, and getaway.

Absolute gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Happy House! It was even more beautiful than the pictures- everything is brand new and the decor is gorgeous! The setup was perfect for my family and we enjoyed meals at the big table, the beautiful string lights on the outside, the lovely coffee pot with coffee provided (and milk frother that made me feel spoiled), the beautiful and comfy couch to have morning coffee on on the porch, the big screen tv in the family room, the huge fan with remote control in the master, the outdoor shower and hose to rinse off from the beach, etc. etc.! The price was incredible and this was one of the best places we've ever stayed in Galveston! We rented a golf cart (they deliver it to the house) and it was so fun to ride back and forth from the close-by beach, to watch the sunset, and to hang out at other friends/family homes. We will definitely be back to this home!

Great Beach House - Happy!

Our family greatly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Happy House over the 4th of July. We appreciated the location - a small ways out from the heart of Galveston and its crowds but close enough to drive in for whatever needed (we visited the aquarium at Moody Gardens). We mostly enjoyed the house, community pool (unfortunately the water was too warm to enjoy and it was very hot during the heat of the day; we didn't use it morning or night), and beach...all within short walking distance. The king bed was super comfy and walk-in shower was nice. Really enjoyed the common area - big L shaped couch and great kitchen to cook in. We made frequent use of the seating on the upper deck and enjoyed the hammock and breeze in the lower area. We encountered an issue which needed prompt attention and I can't speak highly enough about the owners and their quick response, great communication, and problem solved. I love renting homes from owners such as these! We'd love to return.

A great and relaxing stay

We really enjoyed our stay, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of the island but close enough to still go grab dinner and enjoy the island. The home is well stocked and very well decorated!

Cozy Beach House

The Happy House met all of our expectations and was just what we needed for our family vacation. The owners are great and always respond promptly. From the moment we opened the door to the house we knew we made the right choice. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, furniture was is in great condition, and it was fully stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Both outdoor lounge areas, upstairs and downstairs, were very comfortable and relaxing. The neighbors also made us feel welcomed. The beach is only a few minutes from the house which was very convenient. There is also a swimming pool for this community located just a block away. I recommend the Happy House for anyone visiting the area and we definitely plan on booking here again.

Best Beach House Ever!!!!

This house was so beautiful!! We loved spending our family vacation here. Laurie was the best host. She was very quick to respond to messages. The beach is literally 2 minutes away from the house and so convenient. We will definitely be booking again on our next family vacation!!
