Experience a Boji Summer

An easy drive away, you'll find a quiet and relaxing getaway in all seasons. This sweet neighborhood is perfect for families with lake access, a swim dock and playground. Perfect for family walks after dinner and fun days in the sun! Boat dock parking is available although not overnight. We are about 5 houses up from dock access and the water! Depending on the season, there's even a lake view! Make summer memories at Cabin In The Cove.

A highlight of your experience at Cabin In The Cove is West Lake Okoboji lake/beach access and daytime dock access. The unit is equipped with everything you need as well as some fun toys for a wonderful lake adventure (Maui mat, paddle board & kayaks!) In our community we have a swim dock, fishing dock and fun family playground. If you look to venture out, our cabin is .5 miles from Pikes Point and less than 10 min away from Arnolds Park, restaurants, museums, park, bars. A great location for you to discover authentic lake life on West Lake Okoboji.

A few notes:
*This property does have ring cameras at entrances for security.
*The very back yard does have a foundation poured for an addition, although no construction has started and will not be done over the summer/during your stay!
*This is a very family friendly neighborhood with quiet hours 9pm-8am.

Short but sweet

This place is adorable and is in a great neighborhood. The hosts were kind, responsive, and were clearly interested in making our stay fun. The place is spacious enough for our family of 6, but still felt cozy with great spaces inside and out. I would definitely book this place again!

Family Gathering

This was a great property for a family with toddlers, teens, and adults. There is something for everyone in the neighborhood and the house is close to convenience stores and groceries. The large patio was a great gathering place for all of us.

Lake getaway for the family.

You will not be disappointed in any part of this place. All new inside, great kitchen, dining and TV area to hang out if weather does not cooperate to be on the water yet just a short walk to the water. Near is a nice beach for swimming or a dock to park your boat while we changed clothes to go back on the water for a place to eat. The large new deck was great to hang out on and grill. Overall great place and would highly recommend!!

Beautiful place

We went with our kids and grandkids. Tara left toys out for the kids. The place was very clean. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful deck. Tara was very quick to respond when we had questions. I would highly recommend this location.

Perfect Summer Vacation Home!

Listing is as advertised! Quite neighborhood with several lake accesses. Lots to enjoy for all ages. We stayed here last year with our teenage kids and plan on booking again next year. Tara is an excellent host. Very responsive and give great recommendations on fun things to enjoy during your stay. Highly Recommend!

The house was Inviting, clean, roomy, and well-maintained. We had a family of eight from 4 to 70. They were toys for the children and a fire pit to relax by. We Definitely will rent it again.

Nice, quiet location close to everything.

We absolutely LOVED this home for our Okoboji vacation. Our annual tradition has landed us in many homes, but this one exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood is quiet, the water is close for fishing and swimming, Arnolds park is close for our children, and the accommodations were exactly what we needed. The home is very well kept and clean. The kids loved the fire pit to make s'mores at night. If you are interested, just book it! It will be worth it.

Awesome stay!

The home is lovely. Very clean and decorated beautifully. I think Tara has thought of everything you could possibly need or want to use. Fun games in the house and in the garage for our grandkids and we of course played along with them. Nice quiet neighborhood with a park close by for the kids to play at. Tara responds quickly by text if you have any questions.

Before School Family Trip

Great experience! This home really had it all to make a great family vacation. Tara kept us informed of how to get in and even got us an early check in. Beautiful home near the lake with plenty of room! Property was as listed. We were a family with teenagers and they had plenty to do in this beautiful, peaceful neighborhood. Family lake getaway

Nice getaway for my husband and me, our 2 daughters and their young families. Also brought great grandma along. Plenty of room for everyone. 10 of us - Ages 1 to 81. Enjoyed the open living space and deck.

Extended Family Vacation

The property worked great for an extended family weekend. While not on the water, multiple access points to the lake made for lots of fun on the water. We highly recommend the paddle board! We really enjoyed the deck., which offers shade much of the day. The neighborhood was welcoming and even had concert in the park our first night. Finally, the host was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this property.
