Great time at this cabin the access to the river is great. We saw several deer and geese. The deer were right at the back door and the geese came right up to my daughter. I would recommend this cabin.

Our stay at Rapid Retreat was great! We enjoyed being right on the river – the sound of the rapids was very soothing. The hot tub was awesome and there was plenty of porch space for us to relax together. The instructions provided by the owners were very precise and helpful. We had a great time!

The property was amazing. The river was the best for relaxing, floating, and unwinding! The beds were comfortable and the living room couch was amazing to wind down on at night. Nice access to River. A bit daunting to get into the River and the owners advise caution. Nice view of the river. Bedrooms and bathrooms just fine. The lower level would be great for kids. Hot tube nice and clean. We didn't use as it was still pretty warm outside

A second stay

We first stayed here in 2024 and when we planned a return to ellijay/blue ridge we were happy to find the cabin was available again! It's spacious, well equipped, prime riverfront location and easy drive inside coosawattee and to the surrounding cities. We will definitely stay again if we make another trip to the area.

Restorative place

Brought the family here for the week. Being from Florida it was a great place to get away from the heat. Warm enough to get in the water and play in the river. It was great to enjoy nature without mosquitoes. The lightening bugs put on quite a show every night. I saw more deer in one week than I have seen in my entire life. This is truly a special place. Hope to get back soon!

Wonderful cabin in the woods

We loved staying at this cabin! There was plenty of room for our group to eat and enjoy an evening around the fire. The beds are comfortable and 3 bathrooms made getting ready very easy and quick. We mostly enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the river go by and the numerous deer that came by each day. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
