We had a great stay for our trip to mammoth cave. There are a couple local restaurants within 15 mins which was a pleasant surprise since we knew this was a rural location. Comfortable home with everything we needed. The drive to mammoth cave visitor center is closer to 37 mins drive when the green river ferry is closed is the only other thing to be mindful of. Would stay here again.
Cute place with plenty of space for 6 of us. The lot was huge if someone is pulling a boat to take to Nolin Lake. We loved having a good outdoor space to sit and grill in the evenings and 2 bathrooms for 4 adults was helpful. We didn’t turn on the tv so not sure about that but it was good size and the couches were comfortable. The kids loved playing all the games and using the little karaoke machine. Nice quiet space. Is a bit of a drive to anything except mammoth cave and Nolin lake which were our destinations anyway. Would stay here again if we made it back down this way.
The house was lovely, very clean and spacious. The updates that were done are very nice. The location was close to recreation, market and not far from Mammoth Caves. I would love to stay again with friends to do some off-roading.
The host was accommodating and allowed us to check in early when we got caught in the rain. The property is clean and did well for 3 couples. Toiletries, paper towels, and soaps were provided. There were enough cooking supplies to cook all weekend. Furnishings were a little lacking as we were always searching for places to put our bathroom supplies and bed (cpaps). The beds were not my favorite....very soft and squishy....maybe others would appreciate that. There was a broken recliner in the living room that we dared not sit on. The fire pit was dangerous at night because there was no lighting. There were string lights but they didn't work. All in all, it is a decent property that needs a bit of care. I would add at least one more tv to the property as well.
Best place we have ever stayed! Little extras like shampoo, conditioner and body wash plus 2 different types of coffee makers and a crockpot not to forget an ice maker in the door make it a five star place in my book! We will definitely be back.
Property was just as pictured very nice and clean and well equipped. Only chances is make world be to add dark out drapes, and televisions in the bedrooms and game room. Bed was comfy and home was very clean. A little drive to mammoth cave probably about 45minutes but really not bad at all. Would certainly recommend.
The house worked out great for the 5 of us and our grandson loved the foosball table. We also enjoyed the fire pit and large area to play outside. The house was clean and well stocked with amenities.
The house is nice and clean. It worked well for my family of 4. I would highly recommend it. The only thing would say is that it actually takes 35 minutes to get to Mammoth Cave visitors center. The time listed on the listing is to the park.
