Bon Temps Rockport, your home away from home! Y'all will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally-located "Old Rockport" home. Rockport Beach is 4 min away & Downtown just 5!

Our 1960's family "beach cabin" offers 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, large fenced yard, private parking (with room for your boat!), laundry room, wifi, roku tvs, games, toys & many essentials.

Hi y'all! We're the Downing Family and we welcome you to Bon Temps Rockport! Michael and Natalie are in their second decade of marriage and raising 6 beautiful kiddos (1 girl, 5 boys, oh my!). Michael is the owner operator of Mosquito Joe of Corpus Christi and Natalie is the director of the kids ministry and the special needs ministry at their church. We've enjoyed 3 years as host-home owners on AirBNB, with exceptional ratings and guest favorite status. We have thoroughly enjoyed sharing our home away feom home with other families!

Why they chose this property

After 2 years of fostering, we were finally able to adopt our youngest 3 boys. With our family complete we're finally able to get away and enjoy vacations as a family. To accommodate this dream, we started looking in Rockport for a home away from home...and found Bon Temps!! It's a family home, in a family neighborhood. Perfect for our family. We hope to enjoy many years of making memories there-- and look forward to hosting you and your memory making too!!

We offer a comfy home with 6 beds and roll away options. A kitchen with most every utensil or cooking tool you can imagine, a full laundry room. Two full bathrooms and a half bath. Multiple eating areas, internet streaming TV's, games and books for the family...Outside you'll find a large fenced yard, fire pit, shade trees, and ample parking.

What makes this property unique

Our home is just blocks to our beautiful Rockport Beach. There you will find both free and paid beach access, the harbor, and maritime museum. Our kids enjoy the saltwater pool at the far end of the beach past the Pier.

A 5 minute drive to downtown (1 minute more than the trip to the beach) puts you in Rockport's sweet little shopping and dining area. Perfect for walking around and picking up momentos for your trip.

Rockport has great fishing from land and sea, inshore and off shore! We can introduce you to a great guide! Our home is near both grocery stores in town and close to restaurants and coffee shops. There's also state park in Rockport down the road and multiple birding sites.

Fulton is not far (10-15 minute drive) with more shopping, food, museums and entertainment. Corpus Christi and Port Aransas an hour-ish away.
