Great Place

Great location in Water sound West. Kids loved how close to the pool the house was. House was very clean and worked well for our family. Would definitely stay there again.

September Vacation

The property was conveniently located next to the pool and a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the house and will definitely stay again if the property is available.

Beach vacation

Great location, only problem was construction on three houses next to this one which created parking issues because of all the construction workers. Beautiful beach, beautiful house.

There were six adults. My husband and me, our two adult children and their spouses, along with our four year old granddaughter. The house was absolutely perfect for us. It was spotless and well furnished. Our granddaughter loved her little room under the eaves. The walk (or bike ride) to the beach is along a beautiful boardwalk that goes over a shallow lake where you can spot wildlife. We enjoyed walking to the beach at sunset and the frogs around the lake and listening to the frog chorus. Beach access is for the Watersound gated community only so is never overly crowded. It was well worth the money for the private beach access alone! The beach was wide with beautiful white sand and the water a beautiful clear turquoise blue. It was shallow pretty far out so fun to play in the water. It was nice having the pool right across from the house for our granddaughter. Parking for three cars was a big plus for us too. Bring your eye masks for sleeping though because the shades are not room darkening and there are a lot of windows:-)

Beautiful house, great location.

House was beautiful. Decorated beautifully with well appointed kitchen. Beds were comfortable with great linens and towels. Location was also great within the neighborhood. Across from pool and next to path that leads to beach. Very quiet neighborhood. Bikes were provided which was also great. The house is a 3 bedroom house however, not a 4 bedroom. There is plenty of sleeping room, but what they are calling the 4th bedroom is a loft with sofa and tv and then twin beds end to end in a "room" that was build into the knee wall/eaves of the roof. There is no door, no window in the area where you sleep and no closet. You can walk and stand up in there, but I hit my head numerous times in there. There are no pictures of the space on the description. I thought the numerous photos of the other two secondary bedrooms also were pictures of the 3rd bedroom..it is very misleading. Again house was beautiful and if you have very young kids this might not be a problem but if traveling and wanting 4 actual bedrooms for adults this might be a problem. IF we had been aware that there was no actual 4th bedroom we would not have rented it. Check in was easy but again, website/app had check in at 3:00 in one area and 3:45 at another location. They didn't give us any check in info until a bit after 3:45 day of check in, after I asked for it. House definitely is a 5 star house if the bedroom situation would work for you.

One of our absolute favorite homes to vacation in on 30a. This was our second time to vacation here and it was an amazing week. The most convenient house to the pool and beach walkover in this gated community. Always so quiet and relaxing here. The home is equipped with everything needed for the week. If you are looking for an uncrowded beach with plenty of room to spread out, this is the place. We will most definitely be back!!!
