Super cute small cottage. Not directly off the lift bridge, and no views of the lake. Tucked behind another property, and the windows from this property look into the windows of the other. Managed by a rental company that owns a lot of Duluth, so woke up on our last morning at 7:30am to someone weed whipping right outside our window. Bathroom was mostly clean, but we found black hairs still on the floor and shower. Now for the good, great value for what you pay. Easy access to Canal. AC keeps it cool upstairs. Kitchen is small but fully equipped. TV is smart so you can watch all your streaming platforms.

VERY clean and well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. Really appreciated the board games and coffee! Just as a note, the queen bed has a very hard mattress. I know this might be desirable to some, not so much for others. The futon mattress was actually pretty soft and they had all of the necessary bedding to make it super cozy. Unsure if it has central AC or just the window unit upstairs. The main floor got a little warm but we were able to open the windows for part of the time to cool it down. Plus there were fans if we needed them (like I said, VERY well stocked and thought out)! It wasn’t a huge deal for us but had it been, I have no doubt I would have had a pleasant experience communicating with them. Location is good! 3-5min drive to canal park and is just across the street from a beautiful sand beach (12th street beach). Was fun to walk to the marina and look at the coastguard boat too! Is very close to a park for those with kiddos. There was another family staying in the adjacent house and we didn’t hear a peep from them- honestly didn’t even realize they were there until we passed them in the parking lot. All in all, would recommend for those looking for a cozy, idyllic cottage in central Duluth!
