Very cute. Coffee provided. Ice cubes ready. Park point was quieter than I expected which was a plus. Incredible beach close by with boardwalk access. Heirloom vacations a wonderful company to use for lodging.

Great location

We loved our stay at Driftwood Cottage. The location was fantastic! Right across the street from 12th Street Beach and walking distance from the lift bridge.

Retired Office Manager

This was a great little place...almost on the beach. Across the street and short trail through not-so-imposing sand dunes opens on to the peninsula beach with a beautiful view of the city. Great proximity to charming downtown and eateries of all kinds. The property management was friendly, efficient and readily available.

Charming and comfortable

Loved the property. My dog and I were on an extended weekend together. Small fenced in yard. Walking distance to Canal Park. Only downside is not having a view of Lake Superior, but the beach is a short walk away.

4-day trip to Duluth

Had a fly-in of our aircraft organization -- Thur-Mon. Had a dog so needed a dog-friendly place to stay. The cottage was in a perfect location -- halfway between Skyharbor Airport and downtown. Cozy cottage -- well-maintained. Clean. Everything we needed. Good time.

clean cozy cottage

Was just what we hoped. Cozy and cute, clean and comfortable. We loved it. It put smiles on our faces. Neighborhood felt safe. We were there for a winter getaway. I would have booked one more day in hindsight.

Cozy but complete

Very cozy cottage equipped with everything one might need for a short VRBO stay. Clean. Felt support from host. Good use of space. Ideal for a couple. Fenced yard worked well for our dogs. Beach was close for morning stroll.

Adorable & Great Location!

We had a great stay at the Driftwood Cottage! It was super cute, had everything we needed, and it was in a fabulous location. Our kids (ages 12 & 14) loved having the beach right across the street. The bed was very comfortable, everything was spotless, and we loved that we could bring our dogs. It was close to Canal Park, but also quiet and somewhat secluded in its own little area. We were grateful for the AC since we were there on some of those rare 80 degree days. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location

We loved staying here. We were able to bring our kayaks into the yard for security. The beach access was perfect. Next time we will be better shoppers as there is no reason to eat out. We alos plan to bring a camping grill. The futon was comfy for sleeping although we plan to keep our stays to just is two. Loved seeing the buoy yard and watching the ships go in and out. Very fun if you have binoculars and get the shipping schedule apps.

Tiny cottage

The cottage is small, perfect for a couple of people. Bed could use a foam mattress topper to help with the lack of cushion on the mattress. Be careful when going thru the entrance gate, the make shift steps are loose landscape blocks, not much of a step. The stay was a good experience otherwise. Al

Park Point Perk

This little cottage was the perfect example of Park Point's history. Built in 1886, it has original walls and charm to delight those who love a little history. Driftwood Cottage comes equipped with everything you need, including games for the family. One of my favourite things was the book Driftwood by a local artist. It tells stories of Duluth from the author's perspective. One suggestion for improvement would be a small privacy wall between the Sea Glass cottage and the Driftwood cottage for when you sit on the deck. However, we were prepared for the cottages to be close together, as described. Although we barely saw our neighbours since we explored Duluth daily, the location is perfect—within walking distance of all downtown has to offer. We had a logistical issue that was promptly resolved with a call from the manager, and the service was good. The final piece worth sharing is the breathtaking view of Lake Superior from the beach, which is a two-minute walk across the road from Driftwood Cottage. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Great little place in a great spot

Perfect walkable location to canal and lakefront as well as beach access right across the road. Right next to Coast Guard station. A bit challenging finding the house on arrival after dark but everything worked out. Adjacent multi room Heirloom property is on main road but parking is shared; assigned spots may be taken by other house but again, we figured something out. Loved the house; customer service was excellent! Highly recommend!

70th Birthday get away

Our stay was wonderful! Super cute cottage, it met all our needs for a short getaway. We were happy to have the queen size bed but it was a little snug getting in…not much room along the sides, I guess we are not 30yrs old anymore so leaping in was not an option for us But (other than that) it was perfect!!!

Nice little house

This property has two homes that are separate structures. The main home is fairly large. The second house that I stayed in is fairly small. But it has everything you need. A nice little bedroom and bathroom upstairs. A small kitchen, and sitting/dining area on the main floor. It’s quite cozy and nice!
