Not impressed with the property. Advised the owners/manager of water damage as the floor downstairs was peeling up, and would squish under your feet when walking on it and the doors to the downstairs bedroom was split due to water damage so it could not open/close. There were 4 box fans in a closet downstairs but when we asked the owners about water damage they denied it.
Beautiful neighborhood. Very clean. Cozy as well. That sharp turn was a little crazy but we managed.

The house was nice, didn’t realize it was a multi level house. We wanted king beds which it had 2 but one was upstairs and the other one was downstairs. So we ended up sleeping on a queen. Because of our age I would not have rented it if I had known it was multi level. The host responded quickly to my emails.
We enjoyed our family trip this summer. The owners were great with communication and were kind enough to make some accommodations we needed last minute. There were shops nearby but the neighborhood was overall quite peaceful. We could see the care they put into the property and enjoyed the hot tub! I will note we didn't account for the ceiling in the upstairs or quite consider the limitation of having children and only eating in the kitchen (understandable but the kids wanted to have movies and snacks downstairs). Overall we loved our visit and look forward to returning! Highly recommend
We stayed here for a couple nights for a family vacation. It was nice to come back to lots of comfy places to lounge after being out on adventures during the day. Everything worked, it was super clean and well kept. It was perfect for our big family!
This house was perfect for two families with teen girls. Plenty of space for everyone and plenty of bathrooms. Having two living rooms was a plus, as well. We loved the outdoor patio area!
The owners were quick with responses and very friendly.
We appreciated the room to give us more space to spread out compared to a traditional hotel. Louisville is a great place to visit!! We were celebrating my brother's birthday and it worked perfectly!
We spent a weekend here, we weren't at the house a ton but overall good experience. There were some dead bugs in the basement. It would be nice and more convenient to have a set wifi password instead of the current process. We just used our phones. The hot tub water was kinda low and it unfortunately doesn't hold heat great. The hot tub stayed around 95 degrees, we set it to 104! I was really looking forward to the hot tub but didnt get a chance to try it out until the last night so the owners weren't contacted.
Overall good stay!
It fit the needs of our group. The kitchen had bare minimums as far as utensils. The stairs both up and down are quite steep. Not a problem for some, but definitely a problem for others. There is no door on the upstairs bathroom or upstairs bedroom so limited privacy. Downstairs bedroom door didn't close properly. One tv remote was missing but we could do without. It was nice to have laundry on site. Communication was very clear and quick with the owner. Nice neighborhood with privacy, and we saw several deer wandering through the property. Close to groceries and not too far from downtown.
We(8 people)came to Louisville for a conference and we absolutely loved staying here. The living spaces were big and could seat all of us which worked well to talk about the stuff we learned. Messages were responded to quickly and the owner was very kind. Would definitely reserve again if we come back.
This listing was truly awesome just as the pics posted. The host was very attentive to our needs. Gratefully her husband was near by to quickly help out when we have trouble getting the fire pit to work. My family and I really appreciated that. ❤️
Louisville Stay 12/8 thru 12/10
- The neighborhood is nice
- The place was very clean and as advertised
- The host was responsive when we had questions and/issues
- Upgrades to kitchen and bath very nice. Except kitchen drawers
Opportunities for improvement
- There is an unsecured garage near the hot tub. The door will not shut
- There was what appeared to be a blood spot on the comforter/bed on the main floor
- Nearly every drawer in the kitchen appears broken/off the railing
- Torn shower curtain in bathroom on the main floor
- The television on the main floor and basement was not working. Appears to be remote issue.
Overall, the place is decent. Not bad, not great. 7 out of 10. C on letter grade scale. No deal breaker issues, but the place is in need of a touch up. Inside and outside.
Would I recommend this location to a friend? No, VRBO has too many options to settle for C grade location.
