The Icehouse, in Redstone, CO, was a terrific place to stay for a destination wedding July 2016. It was clean, quiet, charming & made us feel like we were experiencing Redstone, instead of anyplace Colorado. I worried that it would be too hot to get ready for the wedding, (air conditioning isn't typical in the hotels or other accommodations nearby), but the ceiling fans, blinds & great windows & breezes kept our cottage cool even on 80 degree days! It was nice to have the upstairs bedroom & bathroom for sleeping, and also have the downstairs full bath so both of us could get ready at the same time. We didn't need to use the washer/dryer, but it was nice to know it was there. We didn't use the full kitchen, but it would be great if you wanted to eat in. There were plenty of towels, bedding, dishes, glasses, etc., but I would bring extra bed pillows if you like more than one each; but I bet the hosts could help with that too.Besides being very clean, (cleaner than I think most nice hotels are), the Icehouse is decorated like you would your own cabin; prints, pictures and paintings of local scenes, and gorgeous wood paneling. This was our first VRBO experience and it was a success! Robert & Deb were great hosts, which for me meant give us info to get there & settle in, make sure all was well, & leave us alone although they made sure we knew they were available to meet our needs.I'm happy we stayed!
