A Great Retreat Location

The location is beautiful. The hospitality is terrific. We have been coming to the area for decades, but this opens up many possibilities for visiting more. Loved it.

Very relaxed

We had a great time. We are 3 friends that wanted to get away for a few days to relax and we did just that. The house has everything that you need. The 3 bathrooms was great because we each had our own. Comfy beds! Kitchen and bathrooms are stocked!

Quiet retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. This house is modern with a beautiful view. We found everything we needed for cooking (and in good condition). Basic supplies were well stocked, which was really helpful. The quarry is a nice feature, we enjoyed exploring. If we had another night we would have loved to use the fire pit. We also enjoyed the porch. We definitely want to return if we need to stay in the area again.

Great home with a beautiful view for lasting memories!

Bluestone Hill House is a great place to spend time with family and friends making new memories in a very clean home with a beautiful view of the western Catskills in Delaware County less than 5 miles from Walton. We really liked the large wrap around deck overlooking the oversized lot and watching deer grazing nearby. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms along with plenty of open space to gather and dine with our guests. I highly recommend Bluestone Hill House for your next getaway with family and friends!

Beautiful house

This location was perfect for 6 adults and 2 children. Very spacious, clean, and great decor. Everything we needed was provided. Woukd definitely stay again. Only complaint was the housekeeping team that cleans up afterwards accidentally left a used towel behind one of the bathroom doors and some clothing items were also left behind on the top dresser drawer in the master bedroom. Other than that, house was perfect. Close to Oneonta and about an hour drive to cooperstown.

Great cozy home with nice amenities

This was a fantastic home... very comfortable - a little warm in the summertime, but otherwise, great! The views were phenomenal; it was spacious and clean. The only downside is that we needed it to be closer to All Star Village where our kids were playing in the Cooperstown tournament. We had to go back and forth from the rental to the tourney site and the trek got to be cumbersome. That was the only issue... otherwise, this was a great home away from home!

Quiet- beautiful location

This house is out of the way, but that’s what we were looking for. In fact, It may be the quietest rental we’ve ever stayed in. Almost no cars, most of the time all you hear is songbirds, of which there are quite a few. There are amenities, such as decent internet and TVs equipped with Roku or Amazon Fire. I was pleased with Roku having our dates in already the calendar and a quick QRC scan signed me onto Prime and Netflix. Automatically signs you out on day of departure- nice.. Kitchen was pretty basic- could be better stocked with essentials. For instance, there were peppercorns, but no pepper mill. Olive oil, but no balsamic. Just remember to bring your own and you’ll be fine. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and watching the light change. The fireflies were beautiful in the evenings. All in all, we loved our stay. If peace and quiet is a priority, this place delivers and then some.
