Would stay here again!

Property was clean and had everything we needed and so close to restaurants. They charge for an early check in which I’ve never experienced before, but everything went smoothly and would stay here again!

Log cabin charm with all the perks

A perfect property for our family. Beautiful views, a trail to go exploring, hot tub, basketball, cornhole and plenty of adventures nearby. The house is gorgeous inside and out.

Location + Privacy

Beautiful home! Location is outstanding, couple minute drive (if that) into Kings Beach. The great part is you are SO close to town, but private setting in woods with hiking trails. Best of both worlds!

Lovely log cabin over the meadow

Lovely log cabin overlooking the meadow at the end of a cul de sac. Comfy couches, comfy beds, everything works well, and all the necessary amenities are included. Appreciate being able to bring our furry family member.

Amazing property and beautiful home

This is the place! We had a wonderful time at Tahoe Wanderer. The house had everything we needed and was so spacious. Had plenty of trails right out the door for biking and morning walks. Access to grocery and beach was within a mile. Fly fishing on the Truckee River was within 10 min as was downtown Truckee. Beds and bedrooms were perfect for our group, so nice do have a king size in the Master. Ample dishes for meals and meal prep. We absolutely will come back. Thank you for providing such a great space for us to reconnect and relax.

Tahoe Summer Vacation

The house was really really cool! Just a couple minor things. The kitchen cabinets that slide out are broken and pretty worn out. The faucet in master bath doesn’t close all the way. And although the lake is technically close to the property it’s a little misleading as you really can’t cut through that wooded area with all of the supplies you need for a day at the lake. We had an incredible time overall!

Very nice home in beautiful setting

We loved the home, its been nicely updated and has a great vibe. The open concept kitchen/family room had plenty of space for us and was very comfortable. The stairs to the loft and master are VERY steep with narrow treads. It would be difficult for a senior or anyone with mobility issues to navigate safely. The hot tub also did not get very hot. Other than that, the location is outstanding, you are at the end of the cul de sac backing up to tons of hiking trails. We hiked every day in the snow. Its a great neighborhood and we'd stay there again. The kitchen was very well equipped too and its nicely furnished.

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed the home, its cozy updates, and the beautiful setting with access to hiking trails right outside the door. We appreciate your notes about the stairs and hot tub, and will share this with our team for review. It’s great to hear the kitchen and living spaces worked so well for your group. We’d love to host you again on your next Tahoe adventure!
