About this property

This is a new VRBO listing! It is a detached guest house of 520 square feet of living space on the ground floor. Bayfield is between Durango and Pagosa Springs: there is no need to change hotels in order to enjoy both tourist towns!

I am a nurse and infection control is important to me. I clean the guest house thoroughly.

Normally I require a 2-night minimum stay. However, if it is late in the day and you would like to stay here for that night only, send me a message to see if it is possible...it just may be!

This guest house provides a studio layout. The king bed has a luxurious foam mattress. The kitchen is stocked with dishware and cookware, coffee and tea, and has full-sized appliances and charming kitchen table. There is a storage area between the kitchen and bathroom for luggage, extra food, hanging clothes, etc. The bathroom is lovely with a large shower. There is ample parking in the driveway. We have a Blue Heeler puppy in the main house's back yard, which is fully fenced. Deer bed down during the day in the shade trees of the property. If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay that has beautiful Colorado views of mountains and valleys, away from the hustle and bustle of a crowded Covid hotel world, this is the place for you!

Comfortable Bayfield VRBO

This property was clean and extremely well organized and we would certainly consider another visit. To top it off the host could not have been nicer!

It is a cozy overnight place to stay when you need a kitchenette and don't want to deal with a hotel. We were able to pull our car up to the cottage and unload. The host was very nice about shovelibg the pathway from the cottage to our car befire we awoke the next morning. It is small, but fine for a couple. The bed was comfy, shower was great, kitchenette was nice with full fridge. Only negatives were the furniture is arranged oddly as there are no bedside tables and the littke sofa was underneath the tv. Also in the bathroom the sink is tiny and there is no where to set your toiletry bag. Overall it worked well for our short stay, no complaints. I am just one to look for areas of improvement. 😃
