The cabin is fully furnished and stocked with all kitchen supplies for cooking, linens, and paper products (paper towels, trash bags, tp, kleenex).

The cabin has a great front porch to relax and enjoy your favorite beverage or enjoy the firepit or hot tub in the evening under the big starry sky. The pond is stocked with trout and there is a creek on the property too.

Vallecito is a great location to enjoy all types of mountain activities including Horseback riding, fishing, ATV rentals, restaurants, live music, and hiking. Durango is only 40 min drive.

Wedding Anniversary Stay

So Peaceful

This was such a cozy and quiet property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had all the kitchen tools we needed and the furniture was comfortable and clean.

Breath taking

We enjoyed every moment. Shawn and his family were helpful in every aspect. The property and view was beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for more. We will be coming back here again soon

Relaxing getaway.

We had a very nice quiet getaway at this cabin. It's an older place but was very clean. It had very basic amenities which was OK but we could have used a few things like a sponge to clean the pots and pans after cooking. The fireplace was not working or available. This would have been really nice to have but not a deal breaker. The bedrooms were cold and difficult to heat. There was an extra blanket that was really warm so that helped but the room stayed cold. Now for the good stuff. Shawn was very helpful and nice. He was there and offered to help with whatever we needed. The pond was beautiful. We had a great time feeding the fish and taking the canoe out around the pond. The lake is a couple of minutes away. The water was low but we still caught several trout and had a great day. The river is close by and walking by it and hearing it was nice. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. This is a great little place for a romantic getaway. Thanks again!!
