Wow this Cabin truly has it all ! Your host Connie.. 720-998-7272.
This cabin is on private property. We share the forest with all of God Creatures.
The Cabin is 100 years old. We have done major upgrades. The Solitude is not for everyone it gets really dark. But my oh my the Stars come out at night. The animals great and small might pay a visit. You will enjoy the decks. The covered swing in the yard.
BBQ on deck. Fully equipped Kitchen. Gas fire pit in the yard. We are not the Marriot or Hyatt so please don't expect that. We are in Gods Country however and you cant put a price on that.
Definitely one of a kind Lake Front on Beautiful Lake Vallecito. With 2 bedrooms 1.5 bathrooms it can comfortably sleep 6! Shower no Tub.
Very comfortable downstairs Master bedroom with private bathroom. We added a sleep number bed for your enjoyment.
Great upstairs bedroom with fiber optic star gazing system, and balcony with gorgeous views of the lake and forest!
The cabin has a fantastic wrap around deck accessible from the cabin by two sliding glass doors, a fantastic way to start or end your day watching the sun rise and set!!
Nestled between BLM & Forest service land it’s a wonderful location..
This cabin boasts breathtaking views year round, with the lake shore only 14 feet out front! Easily accessible sandy beach for swimming or beaching your boat, great fishing, paddle boat, canoe, kayaks, paddle board and life jackets included for your use!
Darling island 50 yards from shores that the kids will delight in exploring.
Every comfort of home is here for you with 5 TV’s,, board games, outside propane fire pits, wi-fi. .
Vallecito Lake hosts a variety of different activities, ten’s of thousand’s of acres of hiking, backing packing and trails for atv’s/motorcycle riding and amazing fishing!!!!

There is a picture of the Cabin and a workshop with a loft, its a work in progress during the off season. This will be for bigger groups and ski in and ski out in the winter months.
$100.00 cleaning fee is added to every reservation.
Happiness Disclosure: This Cabin and location is not for everyone! We completely understand that. Once you check in and your not happy maybe because you might see occasional mouse dropping or we might be too secluded or you just don't like it. The chances of you liking the next day are very slim. We will gladly allow you to check out full refund with the exception of the cleaning fee. We reserve the right to ask you to leave with unnecessary requests and complaints.

Beautiful

My family and I had an amazing time. We loved the location it was far enough that my little ones could sing and happily shout as loud as they wanted and not disturb any neighbors. God's beauty is all around this cabin. We can't wait to come again.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location right on Lake Vallacito with amazing views of surrounding mountains! Sunsets were spectacular with photo ops galore. Host, Connie, was awesome. Loved sitting outside on the glider watching our mini Aussie have the time of his life. Cabin is rustic and cozy, well equipped with everything we needed.

We loved the cabin! It was so quaint and adorable! We are a family of three, so the cabin was perfect for us! And such a fabulous location and view! We will definitely return one day!

Perfect little vaca spot

Beautiful property with great views. Lots of things to do. Right off the hiking trail and the lake. Hot tub was perfect at night. Can't wait to go back.

Can't beat being on the lake!

We greatly enjoyed being right on the lake! The property has a beautifully maintained outdoor area with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view. Lots of lake toys included with the rental and fishing was excellent during our stay. Also, can't beat sitting in the hot tub at night and enjoying the stars!

Lake retreat heaven

Charming, quiet and relaxing. Nothing is misrepresented in the description. It is not everyone’s cup of tea. If you want new and shiny, go to a resort. For us, this was the ideal unplugged getaway. Fishing, water activities, hiking, wildlife.

Magical outdoors!

A rustic and eclectic cabin with a magical outdoor space that we spent nearly all our time. Such close access to the reservoir and within 20 minutes of some really great hiking. We, and especially our two dogs, loved our stay. Thank you!

Beautiful property

The views and location are perfect for a weekend at the lake. It is also located right next to a easy trail that follows the lake. Perfect to take our dog to run and play in the lake multiple times a day. this cabin is perfect for 4 adults or a family of 4. Connie and Brad was very helpful and responsive to our questions during the stay.

This rustic cabin was just what we needed for the perfect long weekend getaway! Breathtaking views from every window. Lake Trip

This property is gorgeous, quiet and private with direct access to the water. Everything is as described. Constance was extremely helpful and communicative and we had no issues throughout the stay. Cannot beat the location! My husband and I and our two dogs had a fun, relaxing stay.

Terrific nature spot!

The property is ideal, with no neighbors except for a campground! It was easy to navigate to the lake to do early morning fishing and I spent my days capturing amazing photographs of hummingbirds, chipmunks and nature outside the property. We enjoyed the stars from the hot tub and boating at the lake. If you love nature but want the convenience of home away from home, it has the amenities needed!

Peace at the Lake

It was very peaceful at the cabin. It was an amazing setting with views for miles! We spent the majority of our time on the lake kayaking, and having them easily accessible meant more time for fun! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We loved the yard

We really enjoyed our stay! The outdoor spaces were great and the yard was very well maintained. We also liked the location being near the campground with walking trails nearby. The lake levels were pretty low when we were there but it was still great having views across the lake and being able to walk to the lake from the house was great. The owners were very friendly and helpful when needed. We hope to come back for another visit when the water is higher.

Amazing view

This was our second year at this property. Secluded, but near grocery stores and town for a little drive. Fishing is big. There is a marina that has boat rentals. Hot tub, and four TVs. Serenity in God's country.

Great cabin to recharge and enjoy Colorado beauty

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Lake Front cabin. The location and setting exceeded expectations. The accommodations were comfortable, with great WiFi and Verizon service. Plenty of outdoor living space with appointed benches to enjoy the lake view and setting sun each evening. The hot tub and an outdoor shower are a nice touch after a day spent in the chilly lake using the kayak, paddle boat, canoe from the private beach. We are already planning our next visit!

Great Times by the Beautiful Lake

This is beautiful, well maintained, little cabin just off a spectacular lake, with a manicured lawn for romping or relaxing with views of the gorgeous Needles Range. Quiet as can be with all the comforts of home. This was a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish with a communicative and helpful host. Thanks Connie and Brad-- until next year!

Perfect Vallecito Stay

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our family, very cozy with all the amenities you could ask for. Views, Views, Views!!! Beautifully landscaped. From playing in the water all day with all the boats and gear included, to grilling and relaxing in the hot tub at night, everyone had a relaxing and magical visit to Vallecito. Easy access to the cabin and lake, was a major bonus. Our kiddos were in heaven with the ceiling lights upstairs. Definitely will visit Connie's place again soon!

Amazing Waterfront Stay

Location, location, location! This is truly a CO gem. It’s rare to find a place with access to a swimmable, clean lake that also has so many outdoor amenities and a big yard. We had a blast using the canoe and going fishing, and walking the trail right off the property. There is a campground right off the property but it was very quiet and we only saw a handful of people the whole weekend. This is definitely a smaller, more rustic lake cabin and the owners are very accurate in their description. Beds were extremely comfortable and we enjoyed everything this property had to offer and would 100% stay here again.

A Piece of Paradise

Staying at this property is Heaven - the beautiful surroundings … mountains, lake, blue sky, free-roam cattle, squirrels, and privacy are unmatchable. The fun activities never end . . . hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, and barbecuing. Rainy days are cozy indoors with the fireplace, games, and movies. The patios and hot tub offer inviting places to watch the stars in the night sky. The owners/hosts are wonderfully accommodating and friendly. This is one of our most favorite properties for a fun and relaxing vacation!

Sweet Cabin, Amazing outside space!

This place is the best location 'on the lake'! Just spent a week there with my family and couldn't have asked for a better location. We loved having the private beach with access to they kayaks and paddle boat. The views are breathtaking and the outdoor space offers many options for shade or sun and plenty of space for lawn games. Dogs are welcomed and love the lake access as well as chasing the chipmunks! The cabin was comfortable and offered all the amenities you need plus a few extras. The gas grill was a plus and the hot tub was a great place to take in all the stars. Many thanks to the owners Connie and Brad for sharing this little bit of paradise - We will be back!

Beautiful lakeside property

The most beautiful outdoor area along the lakeside! The patios, hot tub and beautiful lawn were the perfect addition to the beautiful view of the lake. The area was quiet with the prettiest walking path that runs alongside the lake. The cabin was old and rustic just as the listing states, but it was also in dire need of a deep clean indoors. The heavy use of air freshener to cover up the cabin odor was off putting. We didn’t spend much time indoors, so this wasn’t a deal breaker.

Why they chose this property

After camping around Lake Vallecito for many years, and staring at this historical cabin next to Graham Creek Campground. I knew that place could be my heaven here on earth. Back when it was just a bunk house for the ranch hands working the cattle ranch where Lake Vallecito exists today. In the years that followed rooms were added, including a kitchen. You can still look around and see some original walls and décor. The property is a half-acre however completely surround by BLM and National Forests . The most spectecular view of the Needle Mountains and the Lake.
