Arrive ready to relax at this delightful vacation home, featuring a wood deck with outdoor dining, peaceful partial lake views, and a private hot tub. Your home-away-from-home is conveniently located mere minutes from Donner Lake. Spend the day fishing from a public dock, or rent a kayak or paddle board and get out on the water. Shoreline Park (0.3 miles away) is a lovely spot for lakeside picnics under the pines. Take a hike in Coldstream Canyon, or pedal along the bike trails in Negro Canyon, both 5 minutes away. For a thrilling downhill adventure, hit the ski slopes at the Sugar Bowl (6 miles), or get your adrenaline pumping at Northstar (13 miles), Squaw Valley (14 miles), or Alpine Meadows (17 miles). When you're ready to get out and explore, check out the charming shops and restaurants in historic downtown Truckee (only a 10-minute drive).

Natural light pours through a wall of windows in the main living area. Kick back on the sofa and armchair bedside the gas fireplace and watch the 40" smart TV, equipped with Amazon Fire TV Stick and a Blu-ray player. Spend quiet time in the home office that doubles as a bedroom, featuring a private workspace and a futon for additional guests. Do some home cooking in your well-stocked kitchen, complete with center island seating and a full suite of appliances. Whip up family recipes, and gather the group in the dining area.

Step outside to your expansive wood deck, nestled between towering pines. Enjoy rejuvenating soaks in the bubbling hot tub. Fire up the gas grill to prepare a family barbecue, and dine alfresco at the patio table.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
