Nestled near Sugar Pine Point State Park and just a 5-minute drive from the slopes at Homewood, this immaculate 2BR/2BA home with occupancy for six is situated in a preferred west shore locale. Walk to the beach, or explore nearby hiking and biking trails. Highlights include a steam shower, heated bathroom floors, a fireplace, a smart TV, and a Nintendo Wii. The fenced backyard offers a private hot tub and a grill.

Unwind on a plush sectional next to the gas fireplace in the welcoming living area. A smart TV sets the scene for movie nights. A full suite of stainless steel appliances and stone countertops gleam in the updated kitchen. When it's time to dine, there is seating at the kitchen bar. The fenced backyard offers a blissful retreat on sunny afternoons. After a fun-filled day, relax in your private hot tub.

The primary suite has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with heated floors, a steam shower, and a jetted tub. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, while the third bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed. The second bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower and heated floors. Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi, a Pack 'n Play, Nintendo Wii, and a washer/dryer.

The central location of this rental allows you to walk to the private HOA beach and pier. Enjoy nearby hiking and biking at Eagle Rock, Vikingsholm Hiking Trail in Emerald Bay, Sugar Pine Point State Park, and Blackwood Canyon. For winter days on the slopes, Homewood is a 5-minute drive. Great house, lousy furniture!

The house was beautiful and in a great location. But there were a few problems— 1/2 a stick of butter on a plate found in a cabinet, dirty dishes in the cabinet, some electrical issues with lights flickering and when I emailed and spoke with VACASA, no one got back to me. Finally, the couch in the min living room is terrible. When you sit down, the cushions are so thin that you can kiss your knees and there are no chairs that are not higher counter top chairs. C’mon people, for four figures a week, can you provide a decent couch and a few arm chairs?

We enjoyed our 3 night stay, with the exception of the lack of screens on the two front windows. It was pretty warm, especially at night, and not being able to open the front windows was awful. Fortunately, there were lots of fans that helped, but it was still warm. I let Vacasa know shortly after we checked in, and got responses that seemed like they were coming from an automated mailbox. Strangely enough, they asked for a picture of the missing screen. The last text we exchanged stated it would be fixed, but I never heard anything else, and the screen was not installed. “I have notified the local staff of this issue to ensure that we can have this issue resolved for you as soon as possible. We will go ahead and follow up with you with an update in the shortest possible time. In the meantime, is there anything else that I can assist with?” Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pans, and even had kids plates and bowls. The backyard was beautiful, with a table for six, and the spa, which the kids loved.

Wonderful Accomodations

Was very happy with our stay at Westshore Oasis. House had all the cozy comforts you would seek for a ski vacation from heated floors to a steam shower, hot tub and a warming fireplace. House had great access to all the gems of Tahoe and would highly recommend staying here if traveling with a family.

Great family spot

Great use of 3 bedrooms. No inside dining table but counter for 4 and family room puzzle table; outside table new, seats 6. Very hospitable, easy directions. Internet spotty; one broadband problem fixed within 1 hour by on-site rep. Great showers/tubs; great laundry. Lights flicker when microwave turned on. Definitely would rent again.
