✓ KING Bed ✓ Outdoor Hot Tub ✓ Fast Wi-Fi ✓ Roku TVs ✓ Outdoor Gas Fire Table ✓ BBQ Pit ✓ Indoor Gas Fireplace ✓ Unforgettable Memories!
Located next to everything Pigeon Forge has to offer: a 1-mile drive gets you to the parkway to experience all the tasty restaurants and exciting attractions! Your cabin is 4 miles from Dollywood, 3 miles from the Hollywood Wax Museum, 2 miles from The Island, and a quick drive to Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for your hikes!
★ RELAX ★
• Soak in the hot tub on your private back porch and reminisce together next to the warmth from the fire table
• Connect with each other and toast your wine glasses together in the romantic jacuzzi tub right next to your king-size bed
★ PLAY ★
• The community pool is seasonal from Memorial Day to September 26th (closed on Wednesdays for weekly maintenance)
• As the sun sets, switch on the gas fireplace* and enjoy the flat-screen TV from the full sofa in the living room. Or, enjoy the other flat-screen TV right from the comfort of your bed. We’ve got you hooked up with a Roku box on each TV so you can easily enjoy your accounts on Netflix, Hulu, HBO, and anything else you subscribe to. Logging out of your accounts is made easy with Roku Guest Mode’s automatic logout
**Fireplace use is seasonal from October 1st – March 31st
★ HOME ★
• Fast Wi-Fi network
• Air conditioning and heat are easily controlled from the Honeywell system on the wall. We can personally say that the system works GREAT!
★ SLEEP ★
• Dive into the coziness of your KING-size bed! Hibernate comfortably here during the winter months and rest easily for your summer hiking
• Bringing kids or friends? The sofa is a pull-out and we provide a mattress pad, sheets, comforter, and pillows to make it just as comfortable as the bed!
★ COOK (or grab take-out ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ It’s YOUR getaway!) ★
• Your kitchen is stocked with the basics: Keurig, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, blender, stovetop kettle...lots of utensils, plates, cups, coffee mugs, tongs, pizza cutter…not to mention the very important corkscrew and bottle openers!
• We do provide some coffee and basic condiments (Salt, pepper, oil spray, a few spices). Hit up a local grocery store on your way here for your essential favorites! (like your can’t-live-without coffee creamer!)
• There's a charcoal grill at the base of the porch steps to show off your grilling skills (Pick up some charcoal, lighter fluid, and your favorite meat—please also bring a lighter, we do not provide one inside for fire safety reasons)
• We’ve got extra trash bags under the kitchen sink! Just toss the full one in the hidden trash receptacle inside the porch bin!
★ WASH ★
• Your full bathroom has fresh towels, new soap bars (bring your personal products if you're staying more than 2-3 nights), and a hair dryer
• After the literally and figuratively breathtaking views of your hikes, we’ve got a full size washer and dryer to clean your sweaty clothing
★ PACK YOUR BAGS ★
We understand that choosing the right space to call your home-away-from-home is just as important as where you decide to go. There are countless cabins to choose from and all are excellent choices. But, we promise that you will not be disappointed with the comfort and privacy of Lovers’ Retreat
Book now or save Lovers’ Retreat for your next getaway. We would truly love for you to experience our cabin!
Other things to note:
- Although the cabin is located just a mile off the parkway, some of the streets are quite steep once you enter the cabin community. Please plan accordingly and drive carefully, especially if you are arriving at nighttime or are planning a winter mountain getaway. Please note that four-wheel drive will be extraordinarily helpful in the winter months. Lovers’ Retreat is worth it!
- Depending on your mobile carrier, service can be sketchy in the mountains. Be sure that you have a method of accessing maps and other information, especially hiking info, before taking off on your adventures!
- The Smoky Mountains are home to breathtaking views. They are also home to the elements and other critters, which include curvy mountain roads, snowy/icy winter days, insects, mice, scorpions, rattlesnakes, bears, and poor cell service. We have a pest control team come out regularly to inspect Lovers' Retreat, but it can still happen that a small critter can find its way inside. We cannot be held responsible for any run-ins with wildlife. Please also always drive carefully in the mountains
- Please note that there fire hazards to using the charcoal grill, fire table, and fireplace and a drowning hazard to using the hot tub. We ask that you implement caution while using these amenities and that children are not allowed to use any of the aforementioned. We are not responsible for injuries or accidents that occur on the cabin premises
