The Space:

Gruene's newest Resort Community boasting beautiful new condo's, private parking, half mile to all Gruene offerings... Old Mill Resort is the perfect place to stay whether a romantic getaway, family outing or just the peaceful setting to relax and reconnect with friends. Take a dip in the pool or relax in the shade under the pavilion. Our 1200 square foot fully furnished condo is conveniently located 1/3 mile from Historic Gruene and Rockin R Tube Rentals. Less than 2 miles to the Comal River Tube Chute, Schlitterbahn and 3 miles to downtown New Braunfels. Take in the live music, dancing, great food, shopping and antique shops during your stay.



This fully furnished 2-bedroom condo is on the 1st floor. There are 2 master suites with king size beds. Both bedrooms have Smart TV and private en suite bathroom with deep soaking tub/shower combo. Premium linens and hotel size bathroom amenities provided. Fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer for convenience. 2 communal charcoal grills (charcoal not provided). Comfortable seating in the living room with queen sofa sleeper, cable, Smart TV and Wi-Fi. The pool is open from 9 AM - 9 PM.



Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. This condo has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. This property is dog friendly with a 2 dog maximum, 40lb max weight limit, at $25 per day per dog. 2 vehicles allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor are of this complex is monitored by video camera. This rental includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

Great Weekend Getaway in Gruene

Great location but noisy

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for 8 days in a beautiful unit downstairs near the common area. Unfortunately, there were 3 evenings where there were parties in the common area that went past midnight and it was very noisy in our unit. Also, the trash dumpster for he property was full when we arrived and was never emptied so it was overflowing by the time we left.

We always make sure to tell our guests to abide by the quiet hours, and sincerely apologize that our request was ignored. We strive to ensure our guests have a 5 experience. Nice Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a nice stay. The condo was very clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is perfect! The only few things I didn’t care for are:The tv’s don’t work unless you have a streaming account to log into and I just wanted to lay in bed and watch regular tv. It’s in the front of the building by the parking lot, so people coming and going or lingering, is very loud and wake you up. The people above us were screaming, blaring music, fighting, storming and slamming doors until 3am. Lastly, the grilling area is open and in 105 degree weather, there is no shade. All in all we had a wonderful trip. Thanks you.

Beautiful, but don't stay on bottom floor

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is beautiful and well maintained. However, we were on the bottom floor and this was the loudest place we have ever been from the people upstairs. You can hear every step, every sneeze, every movement. And it is LOUD. We had 4 units and they were all the same. They definitely cheaped out with noise barriers. It wakes you up and makes it difficult to sleep. So request the top floors or dont stay here. There is only one pillow option, thick and hard. No other options. Makes for a miserable day when you don't sleep well from noise and pillow. Places usually have a few options so just bring your own pillow! Provided resources are limited but they tell you that ahead of time. We loved the pool and it was a short drive to the river.

Swimming pool was very nice as well. The kitchen is not very well stocked so be aware you might have to bring your own items to cook with. Beds and pillows are very comfortable.
