Such an accommodating beach retreat!

Such an ideal location! It's like home away from home with all the perks. I loved the fenced yard for the dogs and the screened back porch where we sat and played cards and games. And there's nothing like an outdoor shower!

Perfect in every way!

This was our 2nd time staying and we love it so much! Everything you need for the kitchen, bathroom, and kids is always there. Tawnya is a treasure, and always super responsive. One of our favorite parts is the golf cart! Looking forward to booking another stay.

The Bees Knees is a great property, very ideally located and the communication from the hosts was excellent! It’s clean, well laid out, contained everything you need for a beach trip or just a stay away from home, and everything was easy to enjoy! Thank you!!

Absolutely loved out stay at the Bees Knee! Everything was thought of. Loved having the golf cart, was so much fun getting around. Both of our dogs enjoyed our stay and the yard was perfect for them. The host were awesome and always available if we needed anything! Would definitely come back🌞😎

Another Amazing Stay at the Bee’s Knees!

My family and I returned to the Bee’s Knees for our 3rd year at the house and OKI. We absolutely feel at home with Bill and Tawnya’s hospitality! They truly make you feel like family! The house is very well kept and being able to add the golf cart for much cheaper than you can rent one on the island is such a nice perk. Our dog loves being able to run around the big, fenced-in backyard too! We can’t wait to return to the Bee’s Knees next summer!

The Bee’s Knees

My wife and two dogs had a great stay here. It’s a short drive to the beach and many of the local shops. Our two dogs loved being able to have their first beach experience here.

Enjoyable Stay at Bees Knees

We booked this house in Oak Island to be near family for awhile. But we really feel in love with it. We've rented many houses over the years in several different states. None of them were as well stocked as Bees Knees! Everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need. Also, the bathrooms were well stocked with necessities. Its within walking distance to the beach and just an overall great location. Very much appreciated they allowed our dog to be there. We will definitely return!

The Bee's Knees home worked out so well for my husband and I during our 28 night stay. Owners are great to work with, always replied to our needs immediately.Fully equipped kitchen for eight people to prepare meals lovely screened in porch to enjoy those meals then outside to quiet backyard to make a fire in the fire pit. Centrally located to beach or restaurants, grocery stores. Beds were extremely comfortable, which is a top priority for us. Don't hesitate to book The Bee's Knees!! Oak Island community is very welcoming.

Great location! Close to the beach and shopping. You'll love the screened in porch and your dog will love the fenced in yard!

Amazing place

We really enjoyed our stay and kook forward to another visit. The owners are very generous with the chef's kitchen and appliances. The home is clean and pet friendly our dogs loved chasing the squirrels

We needed a place close to the beach that allowed pets. This place was perfect for that and the details (linens, beach towels, functional space) all met or exceeded expectations. Property team was nice, responsive and helpful

This was an awesome property; cute, cozy, and close to the beach. The owners were responsive and very easy to work with. Having the golf cart was a lot of fun and the owners were thoughtful enough to give specific directions on paths to stay compliant with the golf cart. This property had all the essentials you’d need-coffee makers, beach equipment, beach towels, etc. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Great location. Property was as described, nicely decorated and equipped. Check-in was easy, owners were quick to respond to any communication and provided accurate information. Would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in a vacation close to the beach with many good restaurants, grocery stores and outdoor activities.

Nice quiet spot

The Bees Knees was amazing place to stay! Especially if you have a dog. Amazing back yard, lots of room, and clean and cool. We enjoyed our time and loved the golf cart!

Fantastic Vacation home

This amazing home suited all of our needs for a family getaway. Everything was so neat and organized. The yard and the fire pit really added to our stay and we loved having the golf cart!We had a wonderful time! If you get the chance, definitely rent this gem of a house!!!

Girls Trip ‘24

We loved everything about the house. Great location close to the beach. Very clean and very well stocked. Loved the fenced in back yard for my dog to be in. We would definitely recommend to anybody.

We loved our stay at the Bee’s Knees

We had a great stay at the Bee’s Knees. The house was clean and decorated so cute. The fully furnished kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. My favorite part was the nice screened in porch. I loved the fact that you each person had their own set of bath towels and wash clothes package and ready that was a nice touch.

Nice Home close to beach.

Great property with lots of amenities. We loved the privacy of the fenced in backyard because we took our dogs. The home was clean and near beach, restaurants & grocery stores. The owner also offered rental of a golf cart which was real super nice!

Absolutely Wonderful!

Bees Knees is amazing! I have never stayed in such a well appointed home! Has absolutely everything you could possibly need. Furniture and beds are so comfortable! We enjoyed the yard and the golf cart, very close beach parking. The bee accents are a really special touch, loved it!
