The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We especially appreciated the two refrigerators and elevator. The pool was wonderful. We loved our stay.

Lovely location. Beach just a few steps away. Roomy with lots of bedrooms. View of the ocean from the living room. Centrally located to the pier and restaurants. Would have appreciated more beach necessities such as beach umbrella. Pool was very nice. Great place for lots of people and families.

Appreciate you staying. As discussed before your booking, and in the rental agreement, we do not provide umbrellas due to liability issues because of umbrella the wind can blow loose hurting other beach users,. We do have beach chairs, toys, floats, etc which you used and enjoyed, Glad you enjoyed the house. A shame you dinged us for something you knew was not going to be provided at the house when booked We supply much more than most STR's do, and always love our guests who appreciate this.

Perfect beach vacation house!

The Lazy Loon is the perfect house for our family beach vacation. Plenty of room for our 16 members. Loved the close proximity to the beach and the beach view of the ocean from the balcony. Kathy and Steve are very responsive to our questions and provide a clean home with lots of amenities, including 2 refrigerators and a pool.

We had an excellent experience at this beautiful vacation property! It was perfect for our multigenerational family vacation—spacious, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully equipped with plenty of bathrooms for our large group. The easy beach access and ocean views were definite highlights.The home was very comfortable and provided plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy time together. Host, Kathy, was very attentive and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well and to see if we needed anything.Overall, this property exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it for families or larger groups looking for a comfortable, clean, and beautifully appointed beach getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing beach property with the best view ever from a second row home!!

Our work family stayed at the Lazy Loon recently and could not have been more pleased with this home. There were 10 of us and there was ample space for everyone, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to meet all of our needs. The house was clean, close to the beach and had three separate balconies. The view is one of the best I have ever seen from a second row unit. We would, without a doubt, highly recommend you stay at the Lazy Loon on your next trip to Surfside Beach.,

Great stay

The home was clean and well maintained, and Steve was very responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. The location and and view was also wonderful! The beach is clean and it was so nice to swim in the private pool. After our stay at the Lazy Loon a few of us went to stay in Myrtle Beach for a couple days and we sure were wishing we were back in Surfside at the Lazy Loon instead!

Great vacation

Our family of 13 had a wonderful stay. The house was close the public beach access where there was a mat for those with mobility issues to use to get to the beach. The pool was great too!

Louisville BM Golf Group

We had 8 gentlemen who came to Myrtle Beach for 5 days to golf and the Lazy Loon was exceptional. Everything you could ask for in lodging and the proximity to the beach was amazing. We will probably return next year for our annual golf trip

Overall impression was good, the elevator was the bomb. View from balcony was excellent. Neighbors was a little noisy at night. Would stay there again.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry that you had a group of little kids who were used to going to sleep early in the evening and did not like to hear any outside noise. On the neighbors, you never mentioned anything to them, or to us until the last night (which was when Surfside had an awesome fireworks celebration), and as soon as they were notified by us they were very respectful to keep their conversations outside on the balcony at a low level even though it was not quiet hours and they were not excessively loud.

The house was nice, close to beach and pier. It was clean. Kitchen well equipped. The multiple bedrooms with their own baths made it convenient for our large group of 15. We all loved the pool. Only minor issues and they were resolved quickly by property manager. Owners communicated well and responded to questions quickly. We would recommend and stay again.

Perfect beach house for our family

The Lazy Loon has been our family beach vacation destination for 3 years so far. We love the layout of the house that includes all the amenities we need to relax and enjoy our time together. Kathy and Steve are very responsive, friendly hosts if we have issues.

Surfside Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Loon! The beach was so close and the pool was so refreshing - especially since it was 92* much of our vacation. We enjoyed walking and shelling at the beach. The pier was walking distance and Drippy’s ice cream hit the spot at the end of the day.

Great Vacation Home for our Family

The house was amazing and well maintained. My kids were able to have their own rooms (which they loved) and we were able to have family time in the common areas to play games and eat dinner. The house is in a great spot next to the beach and the private pool was very clean and refreshing after a hot day at the beach. The owners were very responsive whenever we had questions or had any issues. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

The home was lovely and well appointed. The sunrise views from the porches in the morning were spectacular. We traveled with our 90 year old mom, so the elevator and golf cart were much appreciated amenities. If you are going to stay in Surfside Beach, you can't go wrong at the Lazy Loon! Renee Dallas
