If you’re wanting quiet, serene, modern and comfy, this is the place. This house was perfect for my family visit with 6 of us. Very clean and beautiful inside with all amenities you would need. Added bonus was the ranch and landscape were absolutely gorgeous. Definitely recommend this house.
We had a fantastic say here! This is the most well stocked house I’ve stayed at. Everything was clean and inviting. Getting to feed the 2 cows was fun as well. Would %100 stay here again.
The house was very comfortable, clean and the beds were awesomely comfortable. Bring your own skillets to cook in. I did not cook in them and would not even take the skillets provided to Goodwill. I was disappointed by the care not given to the yard. High weeds everywhere. I thought about the pond outside the kitchen window we were supposed to view. Couldn’t see it for the 3’ high weeds. Upon arriving I wasn’t sure we were at the right place. We live in the country also but this beautiful house “inside” needs some serious care outside and “stuff” on the deck “ old rotted theatre chairs” a non working commercial ice machine and others things need to go to the dump. Railing on deck needs to be secure. I would consider renting again provided some improvements were made outside. It wasnt pleasant sitting outside. The Host was wonderful!!! We left early ONLY because the weather was bad and fishing wasn’t good.
Great Property just on the edge of town lots of parking for trailers. Very clean and property manager went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay!!!
This was our second time staying at this property. It’s the perfect fit for our group and we all feel very comfortable there. Hosts are excellent with communication and very friendly. We will stay every time we come down for a snowmobile trip.
We loved staying at this house. The area is beautiful and the house has all the amenities you would ever need. The hosts were super helpful and easy to contact. The check in/check out process was easy and they didn’t ask too much of us. From seeing deer on the property, the beautiful cow next door and the hills/mountains around were awesome to see. We would definately stay here again!
We spent several days in Halfway snowmobiling. Our stay exceeded our expectations. There was more than enough parking for 2 trucks pulling trailers. We will be back for sure.
Me and three friends stayed for two nights for a bass tournament and the place was perfect. Had plenty of room for two boats , an outside plug in for charging the batteries in the boats, and the inside was very clean and modern. The beds are comfortable and the Master bathroom with that double head shower and two sinks is awesome. I have to say Bill and Maureen are top notch people!
We've always double towed three trailers and boats to this area for over twenty years. Leave the camp trailers home. STAY HERE! Private, quiet, beautifully decorated with unique and amazing touches. We often sat out on the deck relaxing after great days of fishing the lakes. William and his wife have done an amazing job of putting this together. Hats off to them for creating and sharing this place. Saved us a thousand miles of double towing, we'll be back!

About the host
Hosted by William Joseph
William (Bill) lives with his wife Maureen on the adjoining ranch to the West of the rental. The Lazy J Ranch was settled by Bill's family in the late 1800's. William is a Restaurant consultant by trade and Maureen is an Oncology Nurse. Both spend their free time managing the farm, raising quality ranch horses and occasionally sneaking off to the river or Fish Lake for some fishing and relaxation.
Why they chose this property
"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better." -Albert Einstein
The rental property features a newly remodeled country home with amazing views of the Idaho mountains as well as Cornucopia.
The country without wildlife is just scenery. A peaceful pond offers guests exciting views of ducks and other animals swimming about. During the evening hours, the sounds of crickets, frogs, coyotes and other wildlife will sooth, heal, and place your senses in order. The lack of ambient light provides stargazers with an incredible unmatched experience that has to be seen to understand it's wonder! Lucky guests will catch a glimpse of Coinneach, the Scottish highlander that lives on the Lazy J Ranch, along with other farm critters and local wildlife.
Cooks and foodies will LOVE the kitchen. It features a gas stove top with down draft and a double oven. All the pots, pans, micro planers, and utensils you will need are available. As a bonus, we offer the kitchen a complete view of a 65" flat screen T.V. because cooks deserve it!
The large dining space and kitchen island offer a view of two Large flat screen Televisions. Making this a great location for sports fans.
New Lull mattresses and comfortable bedding will whisk you to sleep at night. A new heating and cooling system with smart thermostat will maintain your perfect temperature and if guests desire, an open window can offer the sounds of nature to your sleep setting. Extra blankets and pillows are offered in each room to ensure continued comfort.
