Summary:

Make yourself at home at Fisherman's Landing! Perfect for large groups and retreats. There are a total of 7 cabins or cottages to choose from and a community pavilion to hang out together under. If you don't need all 7 let me know so we can work out a solution. With a total of 14 bedrooms and 19 beds it can sleep a group of up to 30. Each property has it's own covered boat shelter too!



The Space:

Fisherman's Landing ~ located right off of AL Highway 67 in Langston, AL less than a 1/2 mile from one the nicest boat launches (South Sauty Creek) around on Lake Guntersville.



Consisting of a total of 7 cabins or cottages on over 3 acres with 14 bedrooms and 19 beds we can easily accommodate up to 30 people. Coming to Guntersville or Scottsboro to fish, hunt, hike, see the bald eagles, or just relax and unplug? This is the place for you.



You'll have access to the Fisherman's Landing pavilion where you can hang out and relax or enjoy your dinner on at one of our picnic tables. You will also be able to use our fish cleaning station while staying with us.



Accommodations:



Cabin 1 & 2: Each are equipped with 980 square feet that has 1 bedroom (Queen Bed) and 1 full size bathroom downstairs and an open loft upstairs with a Queen bed and a Twin bed.



Cabin 3: Equipped with 1,856 square feet and a total of 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. First Level: (1) Queen Size Bedroom + (1) Full Size Bedroom

Second Level: (1) Queen Size Bedroom + (1) Bedroom with (2) Twin Beds



Cottage 1 & 2: Each are equipped with 456 square feet that takes you back to simpler times. It is equipped with 1 bedroom (Queen Bed) and 1 full size bathroom that can sleep up to 2 adults.



Cottage 3: Equipped with 848 square feet and 2 bedrooms and 1 full size bathroom that sleep up to 4 adults. Bedroom #1: Bunk Bed with (1) Full Bed and (1) Twin Bed / Bedroom #2: (2) Twin Beds



Cottage 4: Equipped with 848 square feet and 2 bedrooms and 1 full size bathroom that sleep up to 4 adults. Bedroom #1: (1) Queen Bed / Bedroom #2: (1) Full Bed



Each cabin and cottage has its very own stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and living room to relax and watch tv.



Covered Vehicle / Boat Shelters: Each property also has a 16' x 36' covered shelter to park your vehicle or your boat. It is equipped with lights and electrical and water hook ups.



What we provide: We provide all bed linens and towels for you during your stay. We also provide you with a basic starter set of toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, trash bag, and laundry detergent. If you are staying for multiple day you will want to bring some extra supplies with you. There is also an ice machine on site at the pavilion.

Great place for large families. It was nice to have options to sit on the porch of one of the cabins or cottages or to meet under the pavilion on the property whether it be games or just conversations. Very quiet area and the little diner down the street was convenient and has very good food.

Great Host!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a group of 33 for a pre-season camp from a university and really enjoyed our stay! Great hosts and the property, cabins, and cottages were very clean!

Our family spent the 1st week of June in all 7 cabins. I give a 5 star for communication with Host, use of Pavillion, pet friendly facility, accommodation of larger groups, close to lake and fishing spots, and ease of check in and check out. It is possible over cooler months the host was not aware of issues in the cabins. I feel sure they will address these in hopes when we return it will be top notch 5 star across the board.

Group Stay

The property was located in a beautiful and quiet area near the lake. It was convenient to Huntsville and the activities there. Perfect for a large group with multiple families. Space for kids to play.

Perfect for family reunion

Fisherman’s Landing was perfect for my family reunion! The different cabin size options accommodated us quite well, as we had some families with kids for the larger cabins and some solo travelers for the smaller cottages. The central covered pavilion offered a shady gathering location for games and meals. Every cabin/cottage was stocked with essentials but we brought extra trash bags and some supplies as we were a larger group. Overall we had zero issues with the site. Attractions in near proximity: - Cathedral Caverns (1 hr) - Lake Guntersville State Park (15 min) - Publix in Scottsboro (30 min) 10/10 would recommend! Thank you for hosting this wonderful location!

Fun but inconvenient

My family of 25 stayed at the venue. We ate most of our meals in the pavilion, which the kids enjoyed. I did the cooking from a tiny cottage, so the family groups could be together. The cabins were much better equiped for cooking than the cottages. One of the cabins had a full outdoor trash container with nowhere to put any other trash. Overall, cleanliness was not good, with most of us sweeping as soon as we arrived. The children loved running over the large property. The lake is near, but it's across a road and a stretch of woods, barely able to be seen.

This is a great property for large groups. Close to Lake Guntersville State Park and even closer to South Sauty Creek diner and store. The hosts were very responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Fisherman’s Landing and it was perfect for our family vacation. The property provided a great setting to relax, spend quality time together, and make lasting memories.One of our favorite features was the pavilion. It was the perfect place to play card games, sit around talking, and enjoy each other’s company.The host was friendly, responsive, and prompt with communication, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We also appreciated that the property is pet-friendly, which allowed our whole family—including our furry family members—to enjoy the trip together.We would definitely recommend Fisherman’s Landing to anyone looking for a comfortable, family-friendly getaway.
