Now offering Saturday turn day! Linens included. Enjoy views of the ocean and sound at ReelsaltOBX from the many outdoor deck areas. Nature abounds with no houses between you and the sound. This beautiful and spacious home is just a 3-4 minute walk (E. Tides) to the beach access in quiet South Nags Head just before Milepost 18. Take a dip in the hot tub or a refreshing outdoor shower, or just relax under the house with a large sitting area. The outdoor charcoal grill is perfect for cooking dinner. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with either a shower or tub. Each bedroom and the living area have large smart TVs. (Please read the booking requirements below)

South Nags Head beaches are not crowded and perfect for family relaxation yet still close to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and local attractions. Very near the Bodie Island Lighthouse, the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island, 4X4 beaches. Take a morning walk, jog or bike ride on the wide paved path that is separate from the main road right across the street.

For the fishermen in your family, this home is located between OBX pier and Jeanette’s pier and a very short drive to the Oregon inlet fishing center for charters.

Why we chose South Nags Head: Our family has been coming to the outer banks for many years and South Nags Head is our favorite location. We love it so much for its quiet beaches and convenience to shopping and restaurants. Many years we have watched turtles hatch and make their journey to the ocean. We married on the beach here in South Nags Head and thought it was only fitting that we buy a special place of our own. We hope that you fall in love with it, as we did, and make many happy memories with your family.

Great Place!

This property does not disappoint! Decorated nicely, well stocked, short walk to beach. Kids loved the hot tub:) Great memories were made-thank you!

Great vacation home!

This was our family's first trip to OBX and the experience was amazing! The home was spacious and comfortable. The location was excellent for all the activities we were looking to do and the beach was just a couple minutes walk from the home. Since we had never been to OBX before, I must have bugged the homeowner (Tracy) 10 times with questions about what to do, what to bring, etc. She was super response and always provided useful information. My only regret is weren't able to stay longer! Highly recommend.

Perfect for large families!

The house was comfortable and Tracy was really welcoming and responsive. It is a very short walk to the beach, they have lots of games we enjoyed at night, and it is decorated beautifully. It was w wonderful week and the house fit our need’s perfectly.

Family getaway

Property was as described and communications with Tracy were prompt to make check in easy. She even sent a friendly text when we left. There was enough room for everyone in our party. The kitchen was fully stocked and the house has close beach access. Beds were comfortable, everything was great. I would definitely stay again.

We are a blended family that vacationed in South Nags Head. We were married on the beach here. We bought our first beach house in 2019 and in 2022 we bought this home. We love this area so much and we want to share that love with you.

Why they chose this property

We love this property because it is large enough for two families and it is spacious. South Nags Head is a very family friendly vacationing spot with museums, go karts, putt putt golf and many more activities suited for family time. This property also has a separate are with built-in desk to have any conference calls that you may need to be on if you work from home on your vacation. Each bedroom has a bathroom so no need to wait for a shower. A nice outdoor shower is under the house. This area is also has many opportunities for fishing. (deep sea, near shore, beach, and sound) Check with local tackle shops for more information. This home is a few miles from the Old Oregon Inlet fishing center. It is also close to shopping, restaurants, and activities but the area is quiet and the beaches are not crowded.

What makes this property unique

One thing that struck us when we entered this home was the fact that it was so spacious and open in the upstairs area. Two living spaces, a dining room and kitchen all in the open area. A large hallway in the lower floor keeps all of the bedrooms far enough apart for personal space. Some bedrooms have private balcony areas on the soundside of the house. The laundry room is very large and has a built in desk area for working. Concierge trash service May 1 - Oct 31 means do not have to take the can to the street or bring it back. Just fill the can making sure the lid will close and everything else is done for you. Trash pick up is Monday and Thursday.
