Great house for a group attending an athletic event, at the University. The other half of our group stayed at a different house with a different host. They were very unhappy with their house and impressed and jealous of ours.

Quick Weekend Away

We stayed Friday through Sunday for a family reunion in the area. The hosts left plenty of snacks and water for our group. It was also convenient access to the house. The game room area was very nice. Plenty of space for our group.

Champaign reunion

Our group was celebrating our 60th H.S. reunion. The house was perfect for us. Two of our party have mobility issues that require the use of rollators. Having everything on 1 floor is essential for us. Having only the 4" step at the front door made this house perfect for us. I'd recommend you hi-light this in your listing as finding this feature is extremely difficult on VRBO. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Champaign/Urbana attractions. It was very clean, well maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the Host was excellent! She responded almost immediately to any questions, was very friendly, and helpful. I would highly recommend this house for your family or group!!!

Moms Weekend 2024

Wow!! Very nice and clean. Quiet neighborhood and everything we needed in this home was there. Excellent and speedy communication when needed. We’ll be back! If you don’t rent this home, you are definitely missing out!!

Grandpa’s Funeral

We were there for Grandpa’s funeral. Most of the family stayed at a nearby hotel but we chose the house so that the kids would have outside space to play and we could make meals ourselves. The house was perfect for us….everyone had a bedroom. The home was exceptionally clean. We took a walk in the neighborhood and everyone was very friendly. We definitely would stay there again. Owners were very helpful as we were planning the funeral luncheon. Keypad access made it simple for everyone to come and go as needed. Thank you for providing a comfortable place to stay during a tough time.

Great for a football weekend

Location was perfect for what we needed, close to the U of IL stadium lots. We absolutely loved the 3-season porch, both to wind down in the evening and for coffee in the morning (pics don't do that justice - there was a lot of table/seating out there) - that was the best part! Inside was no frills but super functional. Most rental homes now have Roku TVs and you need your own subscriptions, but we couldn't find the remote that had most of the functions - we ended up turning it on/off along the bottom of the TV itself, maybe we didn't look hard enough haha. So it would be nice to have better TV instructions. We'd stay again!

Great stay

Overall, our group had a great stay! The owner was most kind answering all my questions prior to the stay. The home was very clean and prepared for our visit. This home was perfect for our group. 4 well-appointed bedrooms. Two suggestions that would not affect my stay in the future - The dining room table pictured in the listing is not the one in the home. Provide an information notebook to guests that indicates where the broom, vacuum, extra towels are located. Also, provide an information sheet how to use Roku and the gaming system. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great House

We stayed at this house over a football weekend. My family and I were very impressed with this house. The host Karen is a great communicator. The house was spotless when we arrived. The house has everything you would need for a stay. Towels, sheets, bathroom stuff, kitchen. This house is very well maintained. My whole family kept saying what a nice house this was. Plenty of room for the seven of us. Thanks, Karen for everything.

Traveled with my sisters for a weekend getaway. The house was just right for the four of us. Plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable. Screened back porch was a bonus. Only negative was that the living room sofas were worn and didn't have much support. Overall a great stay!

A great find for college graduation.

The owner was very accommodating as I messaged before it was open for the dates we needed for my son’s graduation. Grandparents and my husband, son, and I arrived from CO, MN, and IN. It was perfect for all of us. We enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch and darts. The rooms were perfect.

The house was perfect for two families to have a place to stay for a state tournament weekend! There was plenty of space for the kids to hang and the adults in their own spaces. The host was very responsive to all my questions leading up to the stay! I would stay here again!

Nice stay for a family

All on one level, this house has plenty of sleeping options with 4 bedrooms. Two full baths is also a must with a larger group. The kitchen was workable to make meals with pots and pans, a dishwasher and full-sized appliances. Washer and dryer available also. We appreciated the fenced-in backyard! I am sure the screened porch would be lovely in warmer weather. Host was responsive and helpful. Well-outfitted and comfortable, this was a nice place to stay for our family.
