Ride, hike, float, swim, fish, hunt or just kick back, relax and enjoy the mountain views and the sound of the Bennett Branch flowing by while you enjoy a cold beverage around the fire pit. We have 4 BRs, 2 BAs, 3 living areas, plenty of dining space, an awesome vintage metal kitchen, laundry and plenty of porch space to rock back, relax and enjoy! Great place to stay

The house was exactly what we were looking for. Step outside and go fishing in a stocked stream. We had a slight issue with the WiFi when we got there but it was quickly resolved by the owners. It's close to the visitor center and to the other parks in the area to explore. None of us had cell service at the house so we had to solely rely on the WiFi.

House was perfect for our group. So much room. Excellent location. Hot water and water pressure for showers were excellent. Can't wait to go back next year

This home is special! The home itself is special from the 10' ceilings and display shelving in the original store to the vintage metal kitchen to the comfy beds to the porch rockers, pure old fashioned comfort. Every outdoor activity you came to Elk Country for is available right from the property. ATV/Snowmobile trails, hiking/biking/horse trails, creek access for fishing, swimming and floating available right from the property. There's even a bar and restaurant right across the street. We are right in the heart of the best elk viewing anywhere in elk country. We fell in love with this place the instant we saw it. We know you'll love it too.

Formerly the Elk Country Store, you will be able to enjoy immediate access to all the outdoor activities you came for. 3 miles to the village of Benezette, 4 miles from the Elk Visitor Center. You will be visiting one of the most beautiful areas in all of PA and you will get to enjoy it from a unique home in a fabulous location.
