Fantastic weekend getaway

We had a fantastic family weekend getaway at the Lodge! It was very clean, had everything you needed such as linens and kitchen appliances, and was a very secluded, quiet location while still being close to Benezette and wildlife.

Melissa & Manny have been married since 2020 but have enjoyed traveling and exploring the great outdoors since they first met in 2015. Their travels have reached far and wide, but the PA Wilds is their annual favorite. They have always wanted a second home that they could enjoy and share with others looking for a fun, relaxing getaway.

Why they chose this property

This area is a significant one to both Melissa & Manny. Manny has been coming to this area and areas East since he was a child. After meeting Melissa, their first trip together was to this area with some friends. Later, Manny proposed to Melissa while visiting for his birthday. This house specifically was rented by them in 2019 for a winter vacation with some friends. They knew they had to have it when they saw it was for sale. The location is perfect! You can be in St. Mary's or Dubois in a few minutes to do some shopping and sightseeing, but when you're at the lodge, you still have the seclusion you desire when trying to get away.

What makes this property unique

Spring View Lodge is in the heart of the PA Wilds, home of spectacular wild landscapes and outdoor recreation. The sights seen in the pictures cannot compare to seeing the Spring View Lodge views in real life. One of the many things that make staying at Spring View Lodge unique is waking up to elk in the front and backyard of the property and even hearing them bugling during the annual mating season.
