With a King bed, 100 year old reclaimed flooring, 12' ceiling, fireplace, and jetted tub you'll be cozy and feel right at home.

When ready to explore, you're within walking/bike riding distance of the heart of downtown where you'll get to experience life at a slower pace.

Beautiful place!

This was our second time staying here, and we loved it just as much as the first time! Very sweet, cozy, peaceful place. The ring toss game on the porch was a nice touch! Zach communicates very well and the check-in process is a breeze. Providing body wash, shampoo, conditioner, coffee and creamer, snacks, and a couple of bottles of water is so nice! We hope to come back to Jefferson soon and will definitely stay there again!

Amazing little cottage

It was such a treat to stay at the French Cottage. The bed was huge and felt like sleeping on a cloud. The window unit kept it cold and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay in the town of Jefferson. The owners were awesome and made sure we were checked in and okay during a bad storm that hit the downtown area. Would definitely recommend this cute little place.

Quiet and Comfortable

My wife and I spent the weekend in Jefferson as a getaway from work and because we like to take weekend trips on occasion. The French Cottages, and especially the Strasburg (the room we stayed in) was wonderful! It was quiet and in the evenings we could see the deer. Check in was great and Zach kept in touch the whole time we were there to make sure we were comfortable. I am sure we will stay again. The property was clean and very easy to locate and super close to town! Definitely recommend for couples!

My husband and I booked this cottage for the weekend to attend our stepsons high-school graduation and baby shower. The cottage is absolutely everything as advertised. Love this place!

The booking and check-in process were simple. The property is in a nice peaceful neighborhood on a one-way street so the traffic going by was minimal. Loved the tub! The only things I could suggest would be putting the coffee creamers in the fridge because they were curdled, and the bath towels could be bigger. Other than that, perfect place and we definitely plan to come back!

Why they chose this property

The French Cottages were a rare find that we came across that as soon as we stepped into, we knew that we wanted this property to be a part of our story. Each of these rooms are so charming in their own way. With the home on the property being built in 1854 and these cottages built soon there-after, we fell in love with the historic french country elements inside each room. Not to mention that Jefferson is just the cutest little town ever! Our property is only about .3 miles from the center of downtown. So just far enough away that it's dead quiet as you sit out on the porch in the rocking chair, but close enough that in a couple minutes you can be antiquing, shopping, and eating to your hearts content. All-in-all, we hope that you love this stay as much as we do. Come kick off your shoes, rest easy, and get refreshed as you step away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life. Welcome To Jefferson.
