About this property

"Cozy Oasis by the Sea" is a small studio attached to our Historic cottage. If you are looking for a quiet escape, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, where you can explore local beaches, hikes & trails, Lake Worth Beach is the place for you. Minutes from West Palm Beach, Delray Beach and more. "Cozy Oasis by the Sea" is only a few minutes from a vibrant dining & artsy atmosphere. My favorite thing about Cozy Oasis by the Sea is that you can walk/run to the intracoastal at South Palm Park (about 10/15 minutes) where you can see the boats and locals/visitors fishing and partaking in water sports.

Our guests come to Lake Worth Beach to relax by the sea, play golf, explore nature and feel the warmth of the ocean breeze. Lake Worth Beach is a coastal city of 7 square miles, located in Palm Beach County. It is right in the center of Palm Beach County's tropical shoreline just south of West Palm Beach, Singer Island, Juno Beach and Jupiter Beach and north of Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, and Boca Raton. We are 15 minutes south of the West Palm Beach Airport, 45 minutes north of the Fort Lauderdale Airport and 75 minutes north of Miami International Airport.

Downtown Lake Worth Beach is less than 2 miles from "Cozy Oasis by the Sea," and it is the artistic soul of Palm Beach County with a historic theater and a museum, live music clubs, coffee houses, art galleries, antique malls, retail stores, and many restaurants.

Great place to stay!!

We cannot say enough about how much we loved this place!! It was immaculate and in a great location. It had everything we needed. But is was all the little personal touches that Helen included that made our stay so wonderful. She is a great host and we will DEFINITELY be back again.

Wish I could have stayed longer!

My schedule only allowed me to stay one night but I wish I could have stayed much longer. Everything was exactly as advertised and the host was so caring and kind. If I'm in the area again, then I'll certainly be staying at this place again!

Misleading description

We left days early. Very uncomfortable. A single person or couple might enjoy this room & bath attached to the back of a house in a convenient part of Lake Worth's historic district. The owner provided fresh fruit & snacks when we arrived, 2 wrapped bagels (for the week), and free use of two old but serviceable bicycles. If you don't mind being monitored (literally!) many, many rules (don't open and shut the door too often; no microwave popcorn, etc) hearing early-morning sounds from the attached kitchen, -- but want a reasonably-priced attractive place to spend a few nights, this could be just fine. If nothing else, you'll have stories to tell. Read the fine print! Large or tall people, -- it has a double bed w/ strange twin trundle pop-up. Dollhouse size table. We ate perched on our small bed. There is NO view overlooking the bay --a peek of the bay is seen only from the owner's own small front porch. During our stay, that end of the street was wholly blocked with 24 hour construction vehicles so we couldn't even walk near. We objected that bay-view photos sent just before our arrival were very misleading, as was the listing itself, calling this a "one bedroom apartment" "cottage" or studio (with no kitchen sink or stove.) Expect arguments and excuses. I think owner means well, but needs to upgrade or at least be honest about deficits. We fled, paying twice to escape our discomfort. Sadly, we can't recommend, & won't return.

Clean with many amenities

It was great! Very clean and many nice/thoughtful amenities included. Lots of rules but they’re easy ones to follow. Helen communicated well and was very kind.

I love the outdoors, dining and visiting local beaches in unique little towns. I am also "Yaya" to my precious grandchildren, who sometimes visit me here at the Cozy Oasis by the Sea.

Why they chose this property

This historic little cottage is located in a quaint little, artsy beach town known as Lake Worth Beach. The cottage is near two public beaches (Lantana Beach--about 2 miles & Lake Worth Beach--about 3 miles), and there is plenty to do here while on vacation or working remotely. Cozy Oasis by the Sea offers you a little oasis for you to relax and unwind from all the hustle and bustle from everyday life. Enjoy spending time outdoors lounging on the patio or cruising on our bikes downtown or to the beach.

What makes this property unique

Guests will be staying in the Guest Suite, a private studio that is attached to the back of our cottage. The Guest Suite is private; however, the Host and family may be heard during your stay. Your Guest Suite will have a variety of Continental breakfast items in the mini fridge and on the coffee cart and dining table. The breakfast selection is "limited" for stays of one week or less and may consist of pastries from a local bakery or homemade goods, bagels, croissants, yogurt, instant oatmeal, cheese, and energy/granola bars. A selection of specialty coffees and teas is available during your entire stay. Enjoy your breakfast lounging on the patio or watching the sunrise on the intracoastal from our front porch.
