Very cute and charming 2-bedroom cottage. It was close to restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive. I would stay again and recommend highly.
A very convenient location! Close to the intercoastal waterway and beaches. Home has outdoor spaces to enjoy during your stay, too. House is nicely furnished and kitchen has everything you would need! The beds are very comfortable. The host is very responsive and thoughtful. Our stay was perfect in every way.
The house is charming. It is clean and functional but still holds so many of the characteristics of the time period it was built. The location was convenient to all areas north and south and so close to the water. I would definitely stay here again.wouThconvenient. It wasnt
The house was exactly as pictured and fully stocked with everything we needed. The host communicated quickly and check in was a breeze. Thanks for a great stay!
The house was spacious and cozy for our family of 4. It was a super close drive to the beach and downtown. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Would stay here again.

Roomy
The place was roomy and contained everything we needed for a short golf getaway.
It was a cozy place. All very clean. We had everything we needed. Location was good. We walked to common grounds coffee. Great pastries as well. Everything close by. We sat outside one evening ..lots of seating. I would stay again if I were in the area
My partner and I had a lovely stay at this charming cottage. The living room and dining room were spacious and nicely decorated aand the bed in the master bedroom also was comfortable (didn't use the second bedroom). Chris, the host was very easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again.
We had the best time staying at this property. The host is so good nothing is too much trouble. Thanks Chris for a great stay. The property is really roomy with off street parking. There is every kitchen appliance you need to ensure a great time. Bed is comfy and huge couch and flat screen Tv if you want to stay in.. lovely garden with lots of seating to enjoy coffee in the morning or anytime. I fully recommend this great property with a great host. Lots to do in the area the beach and bars and restaurants in walking distance
We checked in and arrived and the first perception was a sketchy neighborhood. We entered and The place was clean. We walked into the “Adult room” and the was a Queen bed as advertised. We entered the “Kid Room” and in the listing, it stated “1 Double Bed, 1 Twin Bunk Bed, and 1 Twin Bed“. We had 3 children and there was 1 bunk bed I contacted the host who then proceeded to change the listing online after I requested a refund. We had to check into a nearby hotel and I am still fighting with VRBO to recoup our money. Pretty poor customer service that they have allowed the false advertising of this unit. BE VERY WARY
This was a cute place to stay for our weekend getaway. Although the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the fan and air vent in bathroom was dirty. The first night we couldn’t get the hot water to work, due to a pilot light that was triggered by a storm the day before we arrived. The backyard is also a common area, so if you are one that likes your privacy, this place is not for you.
The house was easy to find and located in the Lake Worth area. While I initially expected it to be closer to the beach, it was just a short drive—only a few minutes away. For those who are particular about décor, the house does feature some tribal-style statues, a dream catcher, and masks. There were also a couple of minor trip hazards, so it's worth being cautious if walking around in the dark.A great perk was the availability of bicycles for use, which was a nice option for getting around. One thing to note is that some of the older-style windows were a bit difficult to open, but the vinyl windows were easy to open and close.Overall, the stay was enjoyable, and the home met our needs. The host was friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of ceiling fans, which was a nice touch. The only suggestion I would have is to add blackout curtains in the living room where the futon bed is, as the bedrooms had shades, but the living room did not, which would improve privacy.Would recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay!

The shower curtain liner had mold on it and shower curtain definitely needed to be washed. The tub paint is chipped throughout which only holds bacteria and germs. While the unit was tidy, the ceiling fans had a thick layer of dust, as did lamps, walls, and baseboards. The home needs a really good deep cleaning. The coffee pot needs to be replaced. Safety in the area was questionable- the police camera set up in the parking lot near the unit was concerning and did not feel comfortable walking around in the area. We left early and got a hotel for these reasons. I will say the owner was very responsive when I did have questions which I appreciate.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a quick getaway the house was very cute very clean and the neighborhood was very quiet for the most part but is it very active neighborhood and that was fine. I donated a couple of beach chairs as there were none accessible that I could find and I felt that maybe some more beach towels would be a good addition to the property. The house has nothing special to offer as far as cosmetic things however we were only there to sleep for the most part we didn’t do any cooking so it wasn’t something that was important to us it accommodated what we needed

About the host
Hosted by Christopher Reisinger
I am a 31 year old professional entomologist for the county. I grew up in Northern California and went to college in Chico, CA. I am now in the medical entomology program at the University of Florida. I currently live in the guesthouse on the rear of the property with my little Shiba Inu dog.
Why they chose this property
I picked up this property because I liked the detached guesthouse, and the historic charm of the front house. The front house was built in 1931 and has hardwood throughout. It has central AC and a Florida room. The courtyard between the front house and the guesthouse is a great place to hang out and socialize.
What makes this property unique
I love my home because is a stone's throw from the intracoastal waterway. I use my homemade kayak dolly to roll my kayak(s) to the water at least twice a week for a morning or sunset paddle and maybe a little fishing. I also love the fact that I can very easily ride my bicycle downtown with my dog in the front basket and walk up and down the main drag. Lake Worth is very dog-friendly.
