Downtown Lakeside in Muskegon-by local businesses,10 min to beach, Htub seasonal
Our 13th year hosting. We are near several businesses. . We are on the main road to the beach along the bike path to the beach, or to downtown muskegon. This 2BR bungalow updated with a 70s theme, screen porch on the street side, and firepit and picnic area in the back overlooking the marina on muskegon lake. We are on a main road so there are city noises here. Bars, distillery, restaurants, convivence store, donut mill, souvenirs near by. Hop on one of our bikes and cruise the lake shore. Hot tub may be closed November to March due to weather. Check with us. We have room air conditioners here. Often we have a nice sea breeze.

Our donut shop across the street just won best breakfast sandwich award. We have many unique shops here. Candy, art, pizza, bars, and Mom's Meats and snacks
The house was in a great location and well equipped with everything you need including bikes, we loved the hot tub and just short drive to the most beautiful beach
Great location for biking, bike path’s directly behind the property. Wonderful amenities, very clean 3 person hot tub, gas grill a nd fire pit in the back yard. Although we brought our own bikes, Ed, the hostess had bikes available (mostly children’s) any questions we had, a simple text to Ed was answered quickly. Thank you Ed, look forward to coming back next year!

We have several bikes we move around based on need. Come jump on the trail to the beach, downtown, or connect to the old rail system that runs through out the state.
The property is a very short drive from the beach and main downtown area. There are some shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. There are two great donut shops just steps from the house. The house had everything we needed and we loved relaxing in the hot tub.
Adequate space for all 4 of us. All the essentials we needed in kitchen, solid WiFi, comfy beds, walking distance to restaurants, very yummy donut shop, not to far from multiple beaches, great table to play games on a rainy- fun had by all
A friend and I came to Muskegon for a quick trip! This house was in a perfect location as we were able to get to all the hikes and lakes that we wanted to hit up. Quiet neighborhood, within walking distances to a couple of bars.
The house was very nice and clean. The location was good for our needs. The hot tub was enjoyed. The floor air conditioner did not get the house cool enough in the 90 weather.
Super clean house with lots of amenities. Ed, the host, communicated with me well and was helpful and kind. Close to a popular beach spot, has a nice bike trail right next to the house, and was close to lots of fun family activities we wanted to do. The candy shop next door is no longer open which was a bummer. The donut shop was close and cute. There were only a couple of tough things for our family with three kids ages 10,7&5. The air conditioning unit did not keep the house cool and we were there when the weather was in the 80s&90s. It’s a small unit off of a window and while it does keep the living room cool, the bedrooms were like saunas, which made it difficult to sleep at night. One large floor fan and one tabletop fan were provided and we used those, but they were not of much help in those conditions. We did end up sleeping in the living room to manage, but to list the house as having air conditioning is a stretch. A room in the house has air conditioning, but the rest of the house was not cool or comfortable. Lastly, the house is on a main road. I believe the speed limit is 25 on that road, but everyone goes much faster. The road noise all through the night and early in the morning was incredibly loud. Lots of cars driving past, several playing loud music in the middle of the night, and lots of construction trucks, garbage trucks, etc. We traveled Sunday-Wednesday. The bedrooms could benefit from room darkening curtains-it was so light from the street lights.

We had an awesome time, enjoyed that the house was right next to the marina, fun little main street down the road, short drive to the beaches of lake Michigan. Enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend getaway.
