About this property

The Cove On The Waterfront

We are glad to announce the opening of our new place called the Cove., Located or the Chesapeake Bay water shed just minutes from Elkton and Chesapeake City Md.
This family retreat has three bedrooms and two baths and will comfortably sleep eight. The kitchen has all new appliances with granite counter tops with spectacular views of the water.
All new windows will enhance your water views from the bedrooms or more important from the sun room off the front of the house.
For outdoor lovers there will be plenty to do. Grill on the large deck overlooking the water, or play bad mitten, volleyball, and corn hole with the kids. Stroll out onto our 120 foot dock and watch your family launch the kayaks or the canoe from the floating dock. at the end of the pier.
In the evening while everyone is tired from a long day on the water enjoy wine and cheese by the fire pit under the spreading maple tree.
In the evenings you can watch the sunset directly across the river, watch TV, or just play games in the living room.
For the equestrian set we are just 12 miles from the new five star event course at Fair Hill, Maryland.

As our sign says " Welcome Home To The Cove".

We loved our stay at the cove! The house was well stocked and comfortable. The attention to detail was delightfully surprising- the dog bowls for our buddy and the welcome bottles of wine were appreciated and unexpected. The neighborhood was walkable and friendly. We had family visit during our stay and we had a great time playing in the water and the large yard. This stay is human and dog approved!

We wanted a relaxing “home base” to retreat to before and after our son’s weekend baseball tournament at U of D and The Cove was the perfect choice! From the beautiful water views, to the cozy home, my family had a wonderful long weekend mini vacation. Ray and Ed were quick to respond to any questions, and the house was exactly as expected. Cozy cove

The house was exactly as advertised with alot of antiques, hardwood floors and area carpets. The living room opened into a closed in porch that overlooked a deck the was right on the water. The side yard was fenced in and perfect for dogs. I would totally stay here again!

A Wonderful Oasis on the Water

This is a lovely home in the most beautiful setting. The home is very cozy, warm and inviting. The bed in the master bedroom is extremely comfortable. And, oh, that view! You could sit there all day and look at the beautiful water view. And there are some nice restaurants in nearby Chesapeake City. The owner was very warm and inviting. A great place to stay!

Visit to the Northern Bay

Excellent property at an excellent location. Very close to Chesapeake City, Lums Pond State Park, and Elkton. There's plenty to do on the water as well with a canoe and two kayaks available for use. We are looking forward to another visit in the fall or winter!
