THE SPACE

Hey there! We’re so glad you’re checking out our cozy spot — perfect for couples or business travelers who want peace and quiet, on a secluded dead-end road.

Please note our home has two awesome vacation rentals, each with its own private entrance and coded entry. This unit is tucked above the garage with zero shared walls, so you get your own slice of paradise.

The hot tub and outdoor spaces are shared, offering a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Although these areas are shared, guests rarely cross paths, and in all our years of hosting, we’ve never had any concerns about privacy. It truly still feels like your own private, secluded retreat.

This property truly has everything you need for an exceptional getaway. From stunning views and cozy, luxurious accommodations to charming details and peaceful surroundings, it’s designed to make your stay unforgettable. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just craving a peaceful escape, this place is the perfect launching point for your Colorado adventure.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will enjoy private accommodations in a cozy apartment located above the garage. Please note there are stairs leading up to the unit.

Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, smart TV with YouTube TV, washer and dryer, and a relaxing soaking tub. Step outside to the outdoor patio and deck area—perfect for unwinding.

We provide all the essentials, including fresh linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen basics. You’ll have complete privacy with self check-in via coded entry for a smooth, easy arrival.

Our 2 weeks here were delightful! The VRBO is well furnished and our host was very accommodating to provide us with a few extra needs. The kitchen is well stocked for preparing your own meals, ie sharp knife’s, cutting boards and cooking utensils, etc. There is a wonderful neighborhood walking trail just down the street, coffee shop and great pizza restaurant. We appreciated the clean design, quiet neighborhood and washer/dryer.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Middle Shooks Run exceeded our expectations. The space was very beautiful and clean. The hosts were very kind and checked in with us to make sure everything was good. The hot tub was amazing and relaxing. The location was very convenient and close by the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again when we have a chance to make another trip to Colorado Springs.

A definite 5 star! Everything was immaculate, tastefully done, smooth check in, quiet, and had more than you would expect. These hosts truly aim to make you feel at home and think of everything! The kitchen - so nice! They not only created a nice space but one with high end finishes. Worth every dime! We LOVED this place!

Hey we are Mike and Megan. We met in Colorado Springs in 2016 while serving in the Army at Fort Carson and have since been married and now have two beautiful boys. We enjoy everything Colorado has to offer from outdoor activities like mountain biking, trail running, hiking, and rock climbing. We are avid travelers and have been to 9 different countries since we met.
