MANDATORY REGISTRATION FEES [paid to Arrowhead Lake separately]: This is a gated community with 24x7 security patrol. All guests must be registered 3 days prior to arrival. Registration fees : $8.50 per person ($2 off-season September-April), per day for all guests over the age of 6; $20 transaction fee; and $20 per vehicle are mandatory and not included in your booking. $100 late fee if registration not completed within 3 days prior to arrival. A separate charge will be sent to you after you provide the number of vehicle and guests to us. Please provide the number of guests, number of vehicles and vehicle information (name of driver, make, model, year, license plate number and state) ASAP. Vehicle information not needed for a rental car.

Very peaceful place and will love to stay again

The place was very peaceful and it was super easy to communicate with the host. One little problem we faced was, the heat was not working in one of the bedrooms other than that everything was wonderful.

Beautiful backyard, perfect for enjoying the quiet of the woofs

This is our second year staying here and we were so happy to have great weather so we could enjoy the beautiful backyard with the stream. Our kids loved exploring the backyard and all of the fun games in the game room. We will definitely be back!

best backyard in the Poconos!

We loved our stay here at Arrowhead Lake. The backyard was definitely the highlight of the house and we also loved the game room. House was clean, kitchen was fully stocked and Mamta was very responsive and helpful.

Family getaway

Excellent experience, with great outdoor stream in backyard. Walking distance to beach and nice quite walks on the block. Great place to stay with family and friends. Clean, quiet, and an awesome backyard for fun with family. Definitely recommend this house.

A lovely home!

My friend and I enjoyed a short stay and truly enjoyed this home and property, especially sitting by the stream and waterfall. Communication with the hosts was a breeze. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. We look forward to a return visit!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The Shanti Streamhouse was PERFECT. The property was clean, the kitchen was equipped with all we needed to cook meals, and the beds were comfortable. The stream out back was the true gem of the property. My family and I loved the relaxing long weekend at the house. We are already planning our summer stay. Thank you for an amazing weekend.

Relaxing stream house

The listing description and photos were accurate and the property was clean. Everything we needed was provided. However, a couple of the drop ceiling tiles in one of the bedrooms was broken. The stream in the backyard was definitely a bonus

Sweet cottage

We got unlucky with the weather the week of our stay, it rained constantly. But the cottage was comfortable and we had a chance to use the grill a few times. The brook in the back was very soothing. The property manager was great at communicating. The area itself is nice and quiet, with the ponds and pools great for kids. Good for a laid back stay.

Loved our stay!

The house was great, clean and stocked with everything we needed. The property was beautiful and we spent a lot of time playing at and sitting beside the stream. At night we sat around the fire pit. The house is close to the lake, close enough for kids to ride their bikes. Kids loved the beach and we went out on kayaks. Owner was available to answer any questions, though we had only a few. We very much enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to visiting again.

My family of 4 had a lovely time at Mamta's place. The highlight was the outside space. We all enjoyed the firepit, charcoal grill, and hammock, and my children loved playing in the stream daily. We also saw so many deer. The lake beaches and island pool were perfect and so easy to drive to, and we all took the kayaks out a couple of times. With two young kiddos who love to get dirty, it was really helpful to have a washer and dryer in the house. The house itself and plumbing seems to be older, because the bathtub and kitchen sink had a lot of trouble draining, but otherwise it was a great experience. We had a few questions while we were there and Mamta was very responsive right away. I would recommend the house for those who want to unwind in nature.

Fantastic location, comfortable house

The house had everything we needed for our family of 5 to be comfortable and was in a great spot with a beautiful yard to chill at the house or go hike nearby. It smelled a bit musty and we needed to take allergy meds for our dust/mold allergies BUT we loved the spot so much we didn’t care. We didn’t expect it to be new and perfect so that was fine, it was accurate to the listing.

Perfect get away spot

The property was much more than we had hoped for. It rained our first days but the house felt like home so we had no problem staying in. When it wasn’t raining, we spent much of our time around the fire, playing in the creek, and seeing all the great stuff the community had to offer. Our favorite part were the deer that would walk through the stream every day. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a camping experience with all the comfortability of home

Early August Getaway

Lovely property; the creek running just outside the back door was a doggone delight. Kids (ages 9 & 10) had a place to be in the mornings while they waited on mom and dad, and were happy to set up a table and play cards right next to the creek in the afternoons. Our dog was thrilled that we booked a pet friendly place and was excited to see her run line getting clipped up between shady trees. The walk to Beach 3 was approx 12 minutes; walk to Island Pool was approx 20 minutes. Driving was 4 mins and under 10 mins respectively. Nest thermostat for central air and a cast iron pan to cook with (among many pans) on a gas stovetop was really the highlight for the dad in the house. Needed to reach out to the owner on two occasions and they were quick to respond and very clear, warm, and friendly in their responses. Looking forward to booking again
