Casa Dulce: Large Ocean View Home Overlooking Playa Guiones

Casa Dulce is a large hillside home on a private road in Playa Guiones with the best of both worlds; only a 7 minute drive to the beach, restaurants, and shops but just far enough to get away from it all. A perfect blend of adventure and peacefulness.
The large wrap around terraces are a perfect place to check the surf or do some yoga, catch an ocean breeze, and to enjoy the incredible sunsets. The open floor plan is an ideal setting for dining, relaxing, and entertaining.
The lower level includes a beautiful pool and sun deck, as well as an expansive covered area with a built in BBQ, outdoor kitchen, commercial ice machine, ping pong table, and washer/dryer.

This 4 bedroom (each with an en-suite bathroom) can sleep up to 8 people, making it a perfect house for families or groups.
We have so many wonderful memories in this house and of our adventures around Nosara, we hope you choose Casa Dulce to enjoy a perfect getaway!

Great place up in the hills

The house itself was quite nice, modern and comfortable! A great place to relax and unwind. The only thing which surprised us was how far away the house was from the main area with shops and restaurants in Playa Guiones. It's about a 20-30 minute walk. The location on the map is accurate, but we were surprised since it appears it's accessible from the main road. However, the house is instead on a hill much higher above the main road. Accessing the house requires a ~15 min. walk to climb up a winding dirt road which doesn't appear on Google Maps or Waze.

After moving back to the states Mike invested in land that eventually turned into Casa Dulce. For many years, this house was a surf escape and gathering spots for good friends. Anyone remember crossing a river to get into town? All dirt roads? The Toucan? Blue Dogs? Gilded Iguana before the remodel?! So many good memories from the early days in Nosara, but also so happy to see the town tastefully growing and thriving.

Eventually more of Mike’s dreams came true when he met his wife Erin :) and had two beautiful daughters. Now Casa Dulce has also become a gathering place for family- which brought about some wonderful new updates like our beautiful new pool, new decor and furniture throughout, filtered drinking water, ping pong table, commercial ice machine, new landscaping, new outdoor BBQ and Kitchen, and many more upgrades with the help of our wonderful and talented friends and property managers in Nosara. It is very tricky maintaining a house in the jungle, but we have the best team and we are all committed to keeping Casa Dulce comfortable, clean, accommodating, and memorable for all our guests to enjoy for many years to come!
