Casas con Patio is a brand new complex that just finished in Dec 2021 a modern tropical architectural piece, only a 5 minute walk to Playa Pelada, Nosara, Costa Rica.

The house 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and private pool, suitable for 6 people. The master bathroom has a private patio designed to bring nature inside the house.

The house is walking distance to a mini market and Pelada restaurants, and just a 5 min drive to Guiones shops.

Casas con Patio is a complex of two separate houses and it is organized around a central courtyard. Each house features 2 private patios/courtyards ones which gives light to the interior spaces of each house. The architectural concept was created with the purpose creating the feeling that the houses where levitating above the gardens and that every space inside the house is illuminated throughout the day with natural light.

The kitchen has a big area for storage and the U shaped working area to create a very functional social-working space, this social space has a double height celling and a cross natural ventilation system that keeps the area fresh without the need of AC. The travertine brise-soleil of the social area makes the light of the morning be gentle to appreciate the beautiful mornings of Nosara.

Each house has its own marble private pool and a granite terrace to enjoy the exterior areas. The bedrooms have hotel quality mattresses, open Guanacaste wood closet, a desk (for those who work remotely), and AC. The project also has a purifying water system making tap water drinkable and fresh.

The rooms have the following sleeping arrangement:

- Master suite: King sized bed

-Guest room 1: Queen sized bed

- Guest room 2: 2 single beds

The house is walking distance to a mini market, and the restaurants in Pelada, such as La Luna. The house has all the amenities you need to enjoy your week at paradise. We are sure you will create memories that will last a lifetime in these houses.

We recommend renting a golf cart for those who want to be also in Guiones, it is around a 5-10 min drive depending on where you want to go in town. Or you can also hire a Tuk Tuk to drive you around town.

Please note that Guiones is a developing town, so we have construction going on in the neighborhood. We have a construction project next door that is set to finish in April 2022, in case something changes we will let you know right away. This is why we are offering a construction discounted rate. Also please note that the house is for sale so showings might happen during your stay. We will always try to be accommodating and will give a 24 hour notice.

Nice home

The home was very nice, clean , and close to playa pelada . The main room was very large and has a wonderful bathroom with and internal garden, two extra bedrooms, well appointed. My only recommendation is to install curtains or windows shades in the living area, as the large window face the sun and the area get extremely hot. Overall very nice house

Nothing but good things to stay about nosara and this place me, my husband and our 1 year old got to call home for a week and a half. Great, quiet location with beach, coffee shop and restaurants walking distance- had sunset dinners at la Luna multiple times! The house was clean and exactly as advertised in the photos and the host was very responsive. The house keepers came upon request and even did our laundry for us which was a huge bonus. There were some random quick power outages throughout our stay and even an all day planned outage which we learned quickly that is typical throughout Costa Rica. I was so sad we had to leave! I would definitely stay here again!

Missing information

When we arrived (at night), we were expecting that imprtant info would benon display( ex: wifi password- how to turn on ac- is the water from the tap filtered..) nothing was there. Most of the info was sent by email, but without being connected to the wifi, we couldn't access the info. The property manager came shortly after and helped us out. Also, in the package, it said to make sure to close all bedroom doors to keep the AC working. Because the main area has no AC, we were SO hot! We had to stay by the pool. When we left, the manager told us this rule no longer applies; that we should have left all doors open to cool off the place!! We wish we knew that! Also, we found that compared to other places, this place was not providing anything: salt and pepper was about it! No coffee and none of the basic (spices, cooking oil, zuploc bags...) we didnt even have bathmat and dish clothes. The place is beautiful, well priced, well situated, very safe and beds are comfortable.

Fantastic house!

This property is gorgeous! Javier the host is very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our 10 days stay very much. We were there with our 4 children (9-14-15-16 years old) The beds are really comfortable and showers have hot water. They offer a pretty affordable laundry service that come handy with 4 kids! The kitchen is practical and has all the basics to cook a full meal for a big family. We were there with our 4 children (9-14-15-16 years old) There's internet but no TV. We were happy about that but a few board games could be added. The pool is very small but my 4 kids used it everyday. I would suggest to add some lounging chairs next to the pool. the garden is nice but I would have preferred a place to sit to watch my kids while sunbathing! The neighborhood is ok, the beach Playa Pelada is Wonderfull and Guiones is a short 5 minutes drive away. We surfed everyday! The restaurant Il Peperoni (3 minute away) has great food and in the morning you can enjoy traditional breakfast and fantastic fresh juices. The road are pretty bad, especially when it rains a lot, but it is easily forgotten once you step in the comfort of the house. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful, modern retreat near Playa Pelada!

We loved our stay at Casas con Patios! The home is brand new and beautiful. Very spacious. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows - we especially appreciated the king size bed! The outdoor master bathroom with two rain head showers is amazing - best shower we had in Costa Rica, by far! The pool is tiny, but it was a great option after coming in from the beach, and my kids loved it. The landscaping around the home is beautiful, and I enjoyed watching the butterflies and hummingbirds that it attracted. The air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms, but it works great. The living area is pleasant in the mornings and evenings when you have the screened patio doors open and the fans on. Javier was a fantastic host. He was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had about the house or the area. They offer light housekeeping 6 days a week, which helped keep the property feeling sparkling clean. We felt very safe. The home is located on a residential street. It is walking distance (10-15 minutes) to Playa Pelada and neighborhood restaurants, and a 5-10 minute drive over to Playa Guiones and the "downtown" area there with shops, restaurants, surf schools, etc. A couple of things to be aware of... there is ongoing construction in the neighborhood, which made it a little noisy during the day (mostly 8am-5pm). There are also some bugs - keeping food put away and the daily housekeeping helped with this. I think both of these issues would be common to any home in the area, and neither was a major issue during our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Casas con Patios. We would definitely stay here again!

New home close to everything

The property was brand new very clean and well maintained. There was staff at the home complex daily doing small repairs around the grounds, laundry, and cleaning. The bedrooms had AC units which was nice but the main area of the home, living space and kitchen was not. We did not stay at the house a ton anyway, mostly to cook breakfast in the full kitchen and sleep. The pool though really small was private and nice to cool down in the super humid weather. The pool was actually the size of a large hot tub but it is like 5 feet deep. The kids loved it every night. It has a big step to sit on which was nice after a long day exploring. Bathroom were great and brand new. The cleaning service was daily when we left and they would clean are dishes, make the beds and any little bugs that made there way in. The parking was right out front and this is a complex of like 2 or 3 units, but think of it like houses close together but separated by vegetation. There is a front gate you have to open to get access to your house which is nice. In Costa Rica this seems to be common place to have a large locked fence around your property. At the end of the street there was a little guard shack with a security guard that would ride up and down the street at night multiple times. We felt safe with our young family. There is alot of construction around the area but the workers did not start until 8am mostly. But it seems that many areas of Nosara are growing just like that. To make the story short to have a new home with three bedrooms that housed my small family of 6 super comfortably it was well worth it. We would definatley go back and stay here.
