The place was clean and decorated nicely. It is within walking distance to the beach. We had a few issues but they were handled in a reasonable time frame. Marcus is very accommodating and a pleasure to do business with. I would recommend this place to stay. FYI, bring your own water. The water doesn’t smell good.

This place is great! Very clean and pet friendly. The beach a short walk away and was’t crowded at all. Great places to eat nearby. Marcus was a great host! 100 percent recommend for a chill relaxing beach getaway.

Our stay at this beach house was exactly what we needed. The place was clean, bright, and felt instantly welcoming. We loved enjoying coffee on the deck each morning. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the whole space felt thoughtfully maintained. It was close enough to the beach for easy access but still quiet and relaxing. We’d happily stay here again.

This house was adorable on the inside. It was nice and cozy, yet spacious enough for 10 people to move around and sleep comfortably. The host was very prompt in responding to all of my questions. The back porch was the best, just sitting out there talking with each other in the sun, listening to the ocean. Everyone had a great time and I highly recommend this place. We will definitely book it again.

BEWARE! Communication and price was great. We drove all day and arrived around 7:30pm. The room smelled TERRIBLE. It was obvious someone had smoked in the room. I called the host and was told that was impossible. Even though the property had been vacant for several weeks and he hadn’t visited the property he assured me there was no way it could smell. He offered to have his cleaning crew come out to verify. They supposedly showed up when we went to dinner. They claimed they didn’t smell anything BUT tried to cover it up with air fresheners. We were unable to handle the smells so we had to book another place to stay last minute. The property is not newly renovated. The kitchen is nice….but the furniture is heavily stained and old. The hot tub is present but it’s very old. The water was green and the cover doesn’t fit so the water was lukewarm at best. Marcus refused to refund any of our money. He doesn’t live close so he admitted to not frequenting the property often. It sounds like the cleaning crew is in charge! Very frustrating as I do read reviews and surely didn’t expect the property to be in such bad shape.

Fishing Trip

We were there for a fishing trip out of Freeport. every thing was good with no issues. we will be back to stay again soon! Had a great time. the patio/ balcony was great to relax on.

just perfect

super cute and welcoming and clean and spacious!! tons of beds, a balcony, a big family room. it was the perfect spot for our family to relax and wind down after all day on the beach. (not to mention it’s literally a 2 minute walk from the sand) hope to return soon!!

We had a good trip

Water was week sometime during the day. This is why they dont have washer in the house i guess. only 2 parking lots, we have 3 cars so the neighbor let us use his spare lot. But overall we enjoy the stay. The house looks more spacious than in the picture, clean and cozy. The host is attentive and responds quickly. We are a big group 6 adults 6 children, beds are comfortable, we slept comfortably. Location is great. 3 mins to the beach. good restaurants are a couple mins away. bait shops are around. HEB is 15 mins away.

Coral Cove was Comfy

Location was a 3 min walk to the footbridge to the beach ⛱️. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Can hear the waves from the front porch. Big back porch is private with chairs and tables. The dogs loved the fenced dog run in back. Kitchen has everything you need. It is quiet with no apartment above, below or beside you. That was a real plus! Large screen TV in living room was perfect with all the streaming capabilities. There are no TV's in the bedrooms. We didn't miss them after being at the beach all day. We were ready to rest. The bathrooms were fresh, and clean and each had two sinks. Nice! The owners/host were very easy to communicate with and checked on us via text or inbox on site. We appreciated that. Were there nicks here and there, damp feeling pillows and things some could fuss about or just take note of so you are not responsible? Sure. However the appliances were top notch. The ceiling fans were huge and powerful and very quiet. The AC was nice and cold. The dehumidifier in the living room was a great added touch because it does get humid and moist so close to the ocean. We felt safe and very comfortable. Highly recommend.No problems. Loved our stay. Loved Surfside Beach. Loved the local Bar and Grill that welcomed dogs and had burgers that were huge and very good! You'll find it very close to the apartment and the beach. If you want more chain fast foods they are available too eight minutes up the road delivery services Thae available able.The nced dog run

Heads UP - Sea Legs Needed

This property is squeaky clean with plenty of room for a group to not be looking for elbow space. Although it does take a little getting used to as far as un-even floors go. Sea Legs are definitely needed as not one floor in the entire house is level. There are places to stub toes and stumble everywhere. I am in my 70's and after 3 days I finally could walk around without stumbling. (We were there for 6 nights) Other things to note: the front door opens directly into a bedroom/entry way. Has two single beds but is just a little unusual. Also it has no door for privacy from the rest of the house. Same goes for bedroom 2 which has two queen size beds but no real privacy. The internet connection was sketchy at best so we used our cell phone hotspot most of the time. The TV is very small for the space and hard to see. If you are bringing a crowd of more than 4 people do not plan on everyone sitting at the dining table as there are only 4 chairs. There is seating available outside but you deal with mosquitos and gnats. NOW for the GOOD NEWS - it is spacious and then some. We could see the hosts are working on it in terms of upgrading to 2 full bathrooms. The one full bathroom has enough room for a party! It is amazing. Plenty of hot water. There is a pantry off the kitchen so you don't have to store your food items in bags around the dining room. It is HUGE and a super awesome feature of the house. The host communicates very well and we had zero problems in that area. Will we come back? ABSOLUTELY!. The price for a fully detached house is beyond good. It is clean and the area is mostly quiet. A short walk to the beach is another feature that makes this a top notch venue for a relaxing beach vacation.
