We have stayed in nearly every unit type at Honua Kai, from a three bedroom oceanfront penthouse to now this studio. This is by far my favorite! The unit was clean, communication was easy, the view from the bed was incredible and the unit had everything we needed. Joe was kind enough to run to us with a week notice, we will definitely be back.

Phenomenal view, especially for whale watching! Owner has a pair of binoculars for use to get an even better view. Condo was well equipped for both in room and beach activities. Fantastic overall property and a wonderful experience. If we head back to Kaanapali this will be our first choice of a place to stay.

Our experience was extremely positive. Joe was great to deal with. He responded to our questions very quickly and was extremely accommodating. The suite was first class! Clean and very comfortable for us and our daughter. It had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation, including an incredible view. The resort was also excellent, with lots of pool options, easy access to the beach, and great dining options. We would definitely book with Joe again!

The studio was perfect size for a couple. It was clean, comfortable, well appointed. The lanai’s perfect any time of day because it never gets direct sun and you can see the beach. The resort is beautiful. Very popular with families. (Note: there is no adult only pool). Loved the beach walk.Look for the cats :) Joe the manager takes care of all details, a wonderful host. Would definitely stay here again.

We just stayed here a few days ago and the room was great! Joe was very attentive when we reached out and about a few questions. The property is exactly has it looks on the listing. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay

Everything was just as we had hoped. Honua Kai is a beautiful, well-kept resort, and this unit was spotless and well-equipped. Joe's communication was great, including letting us know (before we asked) that the condo was ready early. If we return to Maui, this is the first place we will consider.

The perfect stay

Our week in Joe’s Honua Kai condo was absolutely perfect. As an immunocompromised person, I’m always looking for a clean condo to stay-it was absolutely pristine and well cared for. The location, view and all of the amenities of the condo and the property were spectacular and the perfect place to recharge. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We look forward to coming again!

Great room, view, and resort.

Property is very nice and well kept. The room was beautiful and the amenities made it feel like home. The view was exceptional and faced due West for amazing sunsets on the lanai. The location is a perfect jumping off point for all your Maui adventures! We would definitely stay here again.
