Am amazing gorgeous view! So relaxing! Property mgr responsive. The inside photos are accurate - a bit dated but stilll nice. We enjoyed our 3 nights at Osprey’s Nest. Down East Maine view is really stunning.
Wr love the place breathtaking views. But the tree needs to go it blocks the gorgeous views . Other than the tree it is a very peaceful spot with spectacular views
The views and the actual inside of the property were very nice other than possibly some screen replacements as there was a night when a lot of bugs(noseeums?) got in and gathered around the lighting. The exterior of the property could use a bit of a tidying up but other than that a great place to stay. Bill, who owned the property and lives next door was extremely accommodating and helpful, especially with the challenge and disappointment of having to leave a day early due to the threat of Hurricane Lee. Overall a very nice stay and property.
From the moment we pulled into the drive we fell in love with this little quaint cabin. It is right on the water and wonderfull views from all over. The cabin was spanky clean in every aspect, with a well stocked kitchen. My only suggestion would maybe put a large umbrella on the deck but I can understand that ir could be a problem if people left it up while gone. I can promise you we will be bck next year!
When we pulled up and realized just how close to the water we were a feeling of calm and serenity poured over us. This is a very special property and we will never forget it.
From the Eagles and cranes flying overhead to the amazing seafood we cooked from a half-mile away everything was perfect.
The property manager was wonderful to speak to and gave us some history of area which just served to draw us in more.
The view, the air, the wild life, the sounds of music in the distance and friendly people will make this a return destination for us.
This is a very cute, very clean property. The pictures are accurate and give a sense of what awaits. Arrival was easy and the property was sparkling clean. This is an older property renovated nicely, but do expect some odd placements of power outlets, etc. that comes with an older home. The A/C worked well after about 20 minutes to catch up if it's warm outside and when the weather is pleasant, open the windows and enjoy the smells and sounds! We enjoyed the solitude, but do be aware the closest consistent shopping, etc. is about 15 minutes away via a very picturesque drive. Highly recommend this property!

Incredible view from two sides of the duplex. The duplex was pretty clean could use some deep cleaning and window replacement. Some windows were replaced and some not. The older windows have discolored and hard to see out of.Management team was very responsive with a small issue they came right over.We were unfortunately there during some heavy construction and remodeling that we were not notified about. Backhoe and dump trucks. Oh the noise and dust. The grounds could use some picking up and some landscaping.Overall we enjoyed our stay; wish it would have been without construction.

Hello, We were very sorry about the construction during your stay. We, as the property management company, had no idea the neighboring house would be having construction done until the construction people arrived. We agree the timing was terrible. We were happy to reimburse part of your rental fees for your inconvenience, which we did. The Deck, slider door and some of the windows are brand new. We strive for 5 star reviews at all our properties and we hope to address all your concerns for our future guests.
This is our 3rd year in a row at this cottage, the first under a new owner and it is still our favorite spot. We love the view, I love launching a kayak right there and it’s convenient to our favorite mid-coast spots.
The Stocks found the perfect setting and turned it into the perfect place for a peaceful, soul nourishing getaway. The home itself is cozy, clean, comfortably furnished, and has a great bed, well stocked kitchen. The deck overlooks the bay. Sound is limited to the lapping of water, birds and an occasional lobster boat.
Jean is a great host She communicates helpfully and promptly.
We love Maine and have found this property to love. The owners have done some remodeling inside since our visit two years ago. An inner wall and closet have been removed and now there are views to the water from every spot in the unit! Love it!
We enjoy sitting on the deck every morning with coffee and every evening with dinner. Harpswell is a great location for exploring other spots in Maine such as Portland, Owls Head, Camden, Hallowell, Gardiner.
Communication with Jean is always easy. She is quick to respond if you have questions or concerns even during the booking process.
We'll be back - again!
Perfect for a low-key getaway with a beautiful view. Seems geared to be a quiet experience so being respectful of others space and keeping noise levels down makes it work best.
The location is convenient for visiting our favorite coastal places like Popham, Reid and Pemaquid but close to Brunswick and Bath. I rented a kayak for the week and it was very easy to launch from the property into the cove. Great view from the deck!
