Thanksgiving visit

We visited to spend Thanksgiving with our children who live in Brickell. The location of this property is great!! Walking distance to the shopping, dining and other things there are to do in Brickell.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
The place looked nice at first, but unfortunately, once we settled in, we noticed several issues that made the stay disappointing, especially considering we paid around 1,100 for four days. There were noticeable brown stains on the carpet in multiple rooms that looked like old stains or possibly water damage from a ceiling leak that had never been properly cleaned. Regardless of what caused them, seeing those stains throughout the place was unpleasant. The bathrooms also could have been much cleaner, and overall, the property felt older and less maintained than we expected. On top of that, one of my friends was charged a 100 fee simply for walking in upon arrival without a shirt. We were never made aware of a dress code beforehand, and he immediately put a shirt on once we learned about it. Despite that, the 100 charge was still applied automatically to my payment. For the price we paid, I expected a much cleaner, better-maintained property and clearer communication about rules and fees. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible, but there were enough issues that I can’t justify giving it more than two stars.
