This classic modern marvel is 5 minutes away from Heavenly, The Lake, grocery, 5 restaurants and shops. It backs directly to magical national forest with large rocks which beckon to what brought Lake Tahoe to life - a volcano 24 million years ago.

Be prepared to fall in love with this house. You’ll love this home because of the outdoor space, peaceful nature of the quiet neighborhood, modern conveniences and easy access to supplies.

What we love to do here

Summer – Take dog for walk in National forest behind the house. Top of hill is amazing view of the lake. Breakfast on the front deck with a peek of the Lake. Grab picnic lunch at Whole Foods and go to Pope beach OR take mountain bike ride straight from the house. BBQ dinner on the front deck.

Winter – Take dog for walk in the snow. Breakfast inside with winter view from picture window. Mom drops family off for skiing at Heavenly (4 mins). Mom get quiet time. Cocktail before dinner at our Bar with a fire in the Melm fireplace. Game or movie night.

Nice Property After Initial Missed Communication

Overall 5 stars, but the owner overlooked our arrival date, which means we had to find alternative housing. However, the owner felt horrible, and just had a mistake in their communications. The rest of the trip was very good, and the house is more private than most lots in Tahoe. Neighbors were nice, and the house has a nice private view in back.
