The entire property is yours to explore, with the exception of the garage, where we store supplies.

We want you to be delighted and are dedicated to hosting our guests in comfort. We feel so good when we arrive at our mountain or valley house and want you to feel the same way. We are both experienced travelers who have stayed in homes and hotels all over the world. We know that clean design and thoughtful amenities are the foundation of a good experience.

We visit our homes often and we have an amazing local crew that is likewise invested in insuring that we meet your expectations. We are available via text phone call, and through the booking platform app before, during and after your stay.

We are an easy 15-minute drive from the turnpike and less than five minutes from the main entrance to Seven Springs. We often swing by Sarnelli's at the corner of 711 and 31 for supplies to start a weekend and the Highland Market is open late and less than one minute past the house on County Line. Champion Food & Fuel, at the corner of County Line and Rte 711 has a gas station, convenience store and sells bundles of firewood.

AIRPORT: Arnold Palmer Regional Airport (21.7 miles), Pittsburgh International Airport (73.5 miles).

We recommend that you purchase trip insurance, which you can do through your booking platform or independently after booking.

Our home is on County Line Road, which is the main access to Seven Springs- so it is kept clear. Our driveway is plowed after snowfall, but you may find it helpful to have 4-wheel drive or all-wheel in the driveway during the winter months.

Our home is set up on a hill above the road, but you may hear cars drive by.

We generally find the mountain air to be cool, and rarely use the A/C. However, some guests like to know that the air conditioning is wall-mounted mini-splits in the living and family rooms, not a central system. Sometimes the best way to maintain the temperature is to use the fans to bring the cool air in.

In the same way, the heat is not centralized. It is controlled room-by-room.

We are in the country, so there are a fair number of insects who would love to make it inside. We have screens on all the windows and a regular pest control service.
- Please consider trip insurance, which can assist you if you have an unanticipated difficulty with your trip.
- Let us know immediately if something is not as you expect, we want to make it right.
- Please be at least 25 years old to book, or contact us for additional deposit options.
- No smoking. By booking, you agree that there will be a $500 fee if the cleaning service finds evidence of smoking or vaping outside of provided bins outdoors.
- Do not discard cigarette butts or any other trash in the yard or inside the house. It is unpleasant for future guests if the snow melts to reveal trash we were unable to see to remediate.
- Pet friendly. We ask that you clean up in the yard and keep pets off the beds. We charge a $50 cleaning fee per pet.
- Events, parties and large non-family gatherings are prohibited without prior approval. This includes weddings, bachelorette and bachelor parties, and other similar events that may entail large groups and/or alcohol consumption. We absolutely want you to unwind and have fun. Most guests have been absolutely lovely about this, but sadly, there have been a few who have made poor choices and we need to ask you to guarantee this with a$500 fee up front. We will happily refund it completely, if you leave our house as you found it.
- In consideration of our neighbors, please be respectful of noise levels and and music outside. Please observe quiet hours from 10am-10pm.
- No food or glassware in/around the hot tub. Grass, leaves and mulch tracked in on your feet will burn out the heater, despite the filters. Please be cautious.
- Please bring supplies to remove make-up or use the black make-up towels we provide.
- Your cleaning fee covers laundry and cleaning all surfaces. We do ask guests to do their dishes and remove their trash to the dumpster at the end of the driveway. You agree to make prompt payment through the AirBnB/VRBO Resolution Center for damage to the property beyond normal wear and tear or cleaning beyond normal usage. Examples include trash such as bottle caps, cigarette butts or animal waste left on the property, remediation of spills or damage to linens or towels and damage to the house or furniture.
- Additional fees may be charged by your online booking service and taxes may apply. A delay in check-out without prior authorization may trigger a fee, as it can delay cleaning of not just this home, but other homes on the cleaners' schedule.

Great house for a fantastic time with family and friend's.
Great home with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Very close to 7Springs so our group of snowboarders loved it. The kitchen was fully stocked. The fireplace was amazing and having the fire made the house cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room for relaxing as a large group. We would definitely stay here again.

Best place to stay near 7 springs
This was one of the best rental houses we have ever stayed in. There was so much extra details to the home that was so special. Our hosts were excellent, quick to respond and provided any amenity you could possibly think of. A must stay when in the laurel highlands!

Hillside Haven
This charming home was perfect for a recent family gathering. Plenty of space to accommodate a crowd yet it was cozy and comfortable. We appreciated the comfy beds and generous supply of towels. It was easy to cook and serve a crowd in the beautiful well stocked kitchen and then eat in the great room with the fantastic stone fireplace. Kind and courteous owners made the stay exceptional!

I am a lawyer and my partner manages global IT projects. We both train combat sports, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for me and boxing for him. We love to travel, but also to retreat the Laurel Highlands with our family - Xavier (13), Ulysses (11), Asher (1) and Kiki our cat.

What we affectionately call “The Mountain House” has become a treasured place to gather with our family and friends for holidays and we began hosting guests in January 2020. It has been a positive experience that has allowed us to welcome other families for their special times together. We have enjoyed it so much that we recently found a home we are calling The Valley House, which we just finished renovating. We spent a ton a lot of time there winter into the fall with the goal of making it magical for our family and yours. We deeply enjoy the design process and working through how to make each space feel thoughtful and well-designed. We hope to host you soon!
