I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time during our stay in Cape San Blas. The house was very spacious, and the neighborhood was perfect for our group. Overall, we really enjoyed the location and the property itself.Our only concern was the cleanliness of the home upon arrival. Several of the beds had sand in the sheets, there was trash on the floors in a few rooms, and we even found someone’s underwear left behind in one of the rooms. Considering the price we paid for our stay, we expected the house to be much cleaner and better prepared for guests.Aside from the cleanliness issues, we had a great stay and really enjoyed our time in Cape San Blas.

Can't say enough good things about this pristine property! It was perfect for our family of 8. A nice surprise was extra beach towels and beach chairs for guest use. The sectional in the living room fit all of us and the kitchen has everything you need to make a meal. We love the location because of the amenities- pickleball and 2 pools! You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful home!!

We absolutely love this home. The fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom was a plus. The location near the pool and the ocean was perfect. We enjoyed the tennis courts and pickle ball courts. The pool area was well-kept and beautiful.

Great home and location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cape Thyme! The home was beautiful and spacious. The layout was perfect for our family. We really loved having the screened porch to enjoy morning coffee. The location of Cape Thyme was perfect! We could easily walk to the bay, the pool, the beach, and even a local restaurant! We would definitely recommend this lovely beach retreat!

Cape Thyme

This was the perfect vacation spot! It was beautiful, quiet and it had a great pool to enjoy. It was only a short walk to the beach which had a swing where we spent a lot of time just enjoying the view. This is the first time I've ever been on vacation for a week and didnt want to go home after day 3. We will go back again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been going to the Cape for several years, and this home is definitely in our top 2 for places we’ve stayed. First, the house was bright and clean. The rooms were all spacious with the perfect amount of space for our family. The open floor plan upstairs was perfect w/ lots of seating. The 3 balconies were a favorite. My husband and I ate a couple of meals on the main deck that overlooks the beautiful, serene bay. Our pups LOVED the cool tile floor after playing in the sun. :). Three of the bathrooms had nice, large, showers. The other had a tub option which was perfect for our kiddos. Our two littles shared the room with 2 beds while the teenagers got their own room and bathroom (all downstairs). The icing on the cake was the abundance of amenities provided. I cannot stress enough how having full bottles of shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom, ample toilet paper rolls per bathroom for the entire stay, plenty of paper towels, dish liquid for the whole week, laundry detergent for the whole week, plenty of garbage bags to cover the entire week, full-sized bar soaps for each bathroom added to our experience. We always end up making a couple of trips because we run out of what we bring or we forget something. All of these items were perfect and saved us a couple of trips to the store. The infinity pool was a fave for our kiddos. My husband and I enjoyed paddling around the bay on the SUP board that we rented with the $250 credit to VayKLife. We were able to hand carry the board across the lawn and hop straight in the water. It was perfect! The first night, we walked out on the dock and were able to witness the bioluminescent effect happening in the water. Such a cool thing to see. We will absolutely seek out this home on our next stay. Great home with lots of amenities

The property is great- just as described. Everything was clean and comfortable . Our favorite house feature was the screened in porch where we had coffee every day looking out onto the bay. We have kids ranging from 11-23 years old so everyone’s wants are all over the place but this house/neighborhood has something for everyone. We used the tennis courts, workout room (okay, some of us did), the bay side infinity pool and hot tub, the pier to fish and the bay to kayak and paddle board. Oh, and we rented bikes with the VayK Gear and peddled to lunch a couple times. Of course the ocean is just across the street. The beach is thinner and therefore more “crowded “ than we remember it from years ago when we were last here. We used the public access to the beach (instead of entering the through the Ovation gated access) because the public beach access is just as convenient and is easier without steps for a wagon that we pulled. We had a few pretty minor questions about the house once we were there, and Donna answered us immediately. If you are new to Cape San Blas and looking to get out of the crowds, yet still have opportunities to do other things than just beach, you’ll love it here.

With the State Park just a bike ride away, you also have access to seven miles of unspoiled and undeveloped beach and bay! There are mile so absolutely nothing but white sand dunes and untouched coastline!

Awesome kitchen with everything you could ever need. Love all the porches off of the bedrooms and living room. Plenty of space to spread out and have privacy from the group if wanted. Super close to an amazing beach with the softest whitest sand. The infinity pool is super nice and much bigger than it seems. Hot tub was great as well.
