The peninsula Fischland-Darß-Zingst lies between Rostock and Stralsund.
You reach Prerow on the B 105, crossing Löbnitz then direction Barth or crossing Altheide, then on the Bäderstraße. Prerow is very centrally located and offers next to the white sandy beach a lot of excursion possibilities: maritime museum, Ozeaneum, leisure bath "Hanse Dom" in Stralsund, bird park Marlow.
In spring and autumn, the cranes can always be observed.
